Cross the Kemah bridge going south, turn right on Marina Blvd ( I believe it's the first light after the bridge). It goes right by the stadium. Take the Grand Parkway around Baytown to 146...you'll save time. The Grand Parkway is just the other side of the Old and Lost river @ Barbie's Hill.

Vidor can pass the ball. We showed that last year especially in the playoffs against Montgomery. But why pass when you don't need too. With as many scouts from the district as I saw at that game, I would run our basic offensive package as well. Save that card for Nederland...keep believing Montana can't throw the ball. Second, no doubt we would suffer if we lost the best player in this district, who wouldn't? But, we wouldn't curl up and die (as many on this board wish)....we would still make the playoffs. Third, the slot-t is a possession offense. You keep the ball, you keep the clock rolling, you keep the other team's offense off the field. Incomplete passes stop the clock...not what we want. Can't score if you don't have the ball.

Thought both teams played well last night...PAM not as tough this year and will have trouble in district.

Oh well u can't please em all [/quote] On BC's TD, they weren't reading the right way. We had three defenders in the vicinity of the receiver but not one actually picked him up. Napping. And yes I'm picky, and I hope they are too!! I'm one who believes we can go 10-0 and win this district if we play hard every play, 16 year olds or not. That's all I'm saying.

[/quote] Thanks dustoff. I'm not making an indictment of the defensive secondary by no means however my expectations are high given they are a veteran bunch and based on last year's performance. I believe they got lulled into thinking BC would be an easy victory with little firepower. They caught us napping a few times and we are gonna need to really up our intensity level in preparation for the puppies. Clear Brook is gonna be a good test this week. I'm sure Jeff and his coaches will be on top of it. BTW dustoff, great job tonight!!!
