Mighty Pirates, there will be 100s of purple canoes coming at y'all wanting to sell you plastic Mardi Gras beads (they got in Port Arthur) when we're docking the Black Pearl, don't buy them. There will be a bunch of purple indianettes (tempting), don't listen to them. There will beat a bunch of brain dead natives wearing purple in the stands singing the same worn out nah, nah, nah-nah-nahhh song because it's the only one they know. There will be a scrawny one dressed in purple headdress running out on the field with a plastic spear and bear claw marks on his butt dancing like someone put Bengay in his jock strap, don't laugh at him. Well, I don't know that any on either rob's list or mine have a deep run in the playoffs in them.  But at this point, the playoff chances for most if not all of them are better than even.

Respectfully, I think your post misses the ultimate point.  It doesn't matter if this was done intentionally or due to an oversight.  And, ultimately if he was ineligible because of transfer or rules or residency status, I don't see where that matters either.  If Neumann played the kid knowing the risk, he was dead wrong.  If it was done due to an oversight or negligence, he was still dead wrong.  The buck stops with him as far as making sure that everyone on his roster is eligible for whatever reason.  That is his job and a big part of why he gets a rather sizeable salary from the taxpayers of NISD.  In this case, that was not done and it has put a huge black eye on the athletic department and the district.  Given the perception (real or not) that football and basketball have been recruiting PA Memorial kids, this goes a long way toward validating that belief, unfortunately.

Yes, hopefully PNG can take care of business and lose to Vidor.  Then in week 11, PAM and Vidor can play for the District Championship.  That's the way it happens in the movies.  Two great teams going at it the last game of the season for the Title.
