We all live vicariously through the kids on the field, passionate about our community, love of sports. There are a few that take it too far; I think we're all guilty of that. I understand what all of you are saying but I rate high school teams based upon several factors, not just who has the best talent. PAM beating up on Nederland this week was a pretty obvious pick 'em that had nothing to do with talent. You're right, they did lose the instant classic to us (depression). Then, all the scandal at that school this week and the possible forfeiture (more depression). They're 16 - 18 year old kids; it had to be an extremely tough week. There are four games left in district; three teams are basically in the playoffs...Vidor, PNG, PAM. PAM gonna go Div1., PNG / Vidor Div.2 unless Livingston gets in. Our kids are thinking district championship and I know they're not bothered at all about going to the rez. We beat png there, I like our chances against PAM in Vidor regardless of their talent. Several 6A schools have faced our offense for the first time, none of them fair well against it. Pasadena Memorial this year, Channelview with the Hurts brothers before that. Momentum is everything.

Yeah, I don't make sense to you Cosby guys but I'm usually right. Could care less if you beat BH earlier this year; they will have a better won / loss ratio than you unless you plan on running the table (not). Y'all better heal up quick...you played heck with Kingwood Park last night. They're 0 and what? The districts are gonna match up that way because Vidor will go small school and we relish another shot at BH or you guys are gonna have to ask your school board if you can play us again. BTW, #23 is back at QB...he wasn't against BH, just for starters. Remember him?

Were I not one of the bigger Vidor fans on the board, I would lock the thread. Since I am, I'll leave it to WOSgrad. I can tell all of you he speak directly for the owner of this board so I would respect what he says. Everyone here knows how I like to trash talk but when you take it the gutter with things that are highly offensive to some fans, action has to be taken. Racial remarks, gender / orientation remarks, bad mouthing the kids, etc. are things that will end this board if they are not dealt with swiftly and severely. The thread was started light heartedly and digressed into something that no one wants to see here. A lot of us are friends from the board and if some of you would take the time to meet some of the others here, maybe go to a game with them or something, your attitude would change.

6 of them. All but one turned into points for us. Name of the game. Their QB took some shots...our defensive scheme is to hit the quarterback now. The pick 6 occurred when he threw while getting hit and it was picked off by #8, Payton Berg. 60 yard return for a TD through about 5 Lumberton players at the end of the first half. To answer Raider24, I don't think you have better talent than us this year. Haylon Leckelt sat the 2nd half against you with a bruised ankle. He scored the first two TDs on y'all.

Kind of like the West Brook game.  If we couldn't best WB this year with the young squad they have and uncertainty at the QB position, that streak may get up to 20 years.  Smh.  With all the distractions and injuries the Bulldogs have, if we can't beat them this year, it'll be another couple of years for them too.

I always pull for the Pirates, except for this week. You guys made my night against Nederland! Keep on, keepin on! Vidor deserves to be in the playoffs for sure. However, I NEVER go against my Indians. This will be an awesome game! Prayers for the players for an injury free game and traveling mercies for the Pirate fans. See you at The REZ!
