5a is getting tougher every year. This is the reason to stay humble. I was rooting for Crosby, but I think Crosby posters on here needed this to bring them back to reality.

BTW, I don't see PAM coming into 22-5A and being this world beater all of sudden. They split with Ozen and Central this year neither of which were that great. Unless PAM gets better coaching I feel their situation will be the same as these schools. Central can match athletes with anybody, and I do mean anybody, but can't make it past the first round of the playoffs. Is Xbox the man to give PAM the automatic 22-5A championship? I'm not buying it, sorry.

Nobody wants to see schools closed down in their community. Charlton, French, Southpark, Forest Park, Hebert are all now the current WB, Central and Ozen. There isn't anything wrong with having 3 schools if the zoning is corrected and quality teachers are paired at each and every school. Some teachers may teach subjects well but can't manage their classroom which is a major problem at some schools. Parents will send their kids often to the best situation for their child but others have to endure difficulties from some in class whom parents may not hold them accountable for learning or having good behavior. I say fix the whole problem by rezoning, holding kids, teachers, administrators and parents responsible for a better school system and environment. Quick rant! Lol

Also: Ppl laughed ON HERE when I said if Navasota or El Campo slipped up Carthage was gonna get to state, those same folks laughed when Carthage lost to Hallsville, im wondering if they laughing now………I reckon no one will be laughing if they beat Navasota next weekend.

I wouldn't use Bishop Gorman as an example of a power program. They only became good about 10 years ago when their school plane system began operating from the LA area. Before that they went to Gilmer and lost by 50.

Yes....  If my People (Beaumont People ) could use all of this energy to help better educate and prepare our children, then things would be light years better in my town....  Smh.  I never knew the name of a dang stadium made so many people lose sleep at night....

It a probably to keep the Central and Ozen in the same district especially with a possible proposed rezoning in the district to get more kids at Ozen.  I assume the expect Ozen's numbers to increase somewhat pretty soon.  But this is just speculation in my part.  

I don't know why they would either? Not even/ barely making playoffs in 5a. To almost a for sure playoff berth every year. Traveling shouldn't be a issue either.

IMO, this is the surprise of the night!!! Undefeated Alto losing to Beckville in convincing fashion. Shows just how tough that district was this year.

Again Northern Lights, the Vidor offense and Angleton offense are totally different. We run the slot-T and Angleton runs a version of the wing-T. From what I saw tonight, they ran several different formations at PNG. The two offenses are no where near similar. 

CONGRATULATIONS INDIANS on a great season!! Enjoyed sitting with the fans tonight and talking about the game. Always a treat being around y'all; best tradition in the area.
