Silsbee needs to realize how good they are and not let the rivalry aspect be a factor in this game. Play Silsbee basketball and do not get caught up in emotions. I really hope HJ is full strength and %100 healthy because if not people will not give the Tigers full credit. Silsbee will probably be without Mike J which could possible hurt but I doubt it. They are deep and all can ball. With or without him the Tigers should roll by 20+ in my opinion.

Your team's WORST LOSS! GO!
DeuceSixSuited replied to Dick Vitale's topic in High School Boys Basketball
My Sr year. We were #2 in the state. We are playing Jasper in the regional semi finals. We beat Jasper by 54 points earlier in the year. We did not take them serious at all and stayed up all night the night before. We played them at 10 Am and lost by 1. They got beat bad by HJ the next game. We also beat HJ both times that year in district if I remember correctly. HJ went on and won state I think? Might be wrong though. -

That's what happens when a team overlooks the other team and does not take them serious. Staying up all night doing stupid stuff and not caring at all. Same team we beat by 54 in the regular season. You have to take every game serious. We learned that lesson the hard way.

Why would There be changes? What players would be seeing less time? Every last one of the main 10 can go and bring something to the table. I am thinking that the same rotation will be used every game the rest of the season. Not the exact same, but with the top 10 seeing equal playing time. My opinion -

The kid plays with more passion that anyone i have ever seen play the game. You do not find a player that puts defense first like this kid does. Bad attitude? One could say so. He needs to learn to stop talking to the refs... That is for sure. But he is very passionate about the game and winning. When you are 5'4 and 140 pounds (Guessing) you have to have a bit of cockiness and attitude towards the game. -

If he is 6'4 he should have more than a couple of small schools looking at him. -

I might have read this wrong but does it say he is 6'4? I did not realize that. He is a great kid and can for sure shoot the ball -

HJ has more than Parquet. They have solid players for sure. Silsbee can't look over this team by noooo means. But if they play the way they can play... They should win by 15+ -
