Mccain and Grubbs are the only 2 for sure starters... next 3 would be tough... Bruce, trajan, Devon McCain, Mackey, Barnes, Thomas, and Adams. Either way it will be two stacked groups with a good 3rd group as well.

#1. I was not talking about you. #2. It's not about knowing me... But I am known and respected in the Houston area aau community. This is my 5th year in this environment. I know there are bad aau/select coaches. I'm not getting back into it but just so you know... You do know me and I know you. We used to talk quite a bit about basketball. But I'm out DUDE lol

Yes I know the rules. Thank you very much for the information. I just wanted the people talking down on me and other people that do what I do to realize that I coach at a middle school also. I could be on the varsity staff as well, but I focus on middle school and my youth program. Oh, and I'm going to school to be a coach also lol just for everyone's information.

To get everyone together at the same time and see what we have. I have multiple teams in each age. I still need some more volunteers lol but for some reason there are not 2 many guys that want to help for free. Hmmm

I take any kid that wants to work and get better. The difference in what I do and little dribblers is traveling and playing against better competition. And there are no rules about playing time.

Some people are not in it for a career. Some of us do it for the love of the game and to create a positive environment for the youth

But they do it for their job... And I know great junior high and high school coaches that have influenced plenty of young men also. But it's their job. Summer coaches do it for free and spend our own money.. Well some of us do.

What in the world is a "average" AAU Coach? A lot of you guys on here who are against AAU ball need to realize what these summer coaches do. I'm curious how many of these great High school coaches would coach for free if it wasn't for a paycheck... Wonder how many of them would spend multiple nights a week and multiple weekend away from their family in the gym and at tournaments spending their own money on these kids. I just lost respect for a couple of people on here and that's a shame. Anyways... What determines a bad AAU coach, average AAU coach, and great AAU coach??? What makes high school coaches poor, average, or great???? To me it would be the number of scholarships their players get(hmmmm)... How many state championships they have(hmmmm). A lot of these high school coaches rely on talent to make them look good. Stop downing people like me who spends a lot of time giving these young men something positive to look forward to after each season without making a penny.
