There are other steps short of kicking someone off of the team. There are suspensions, running, and other ways. hearing bad things about the coach from several people. I hope we didn't get a bad one.

Ensberg, never understood his job. He would take pitch after pitch, not understanding his job was to drive in runs, not look for a walk. His patience (?) finally hurt his numbers. If you are going to be an RBI man, you have to be aggressive early in the count. I would trade Ensberg for pitching.

Once again, It's how they scored the points. If D'ville left their starters in and were throwing the ball, I would have problem with that. If they put their subs in and ran the ball, the subs, who rarely get on the field deserve opportunity too.

I depends on how you score the points. If your up big, and you leave your starters in and contihue to press or play pressure defense, I have a problem with that. If you bring in all of you reserves and play a weak zone, and your subs continue to score, they deserve a chance too.

Guys, this has been fun, but now it is done!

I believe off-season should be sport specific. If you look at colleges, they don't have the same workout regimen for every sport. Some kids play football to help out, but it isn't their main sport.

Anyone's first year to play at the Varsity level in our area. Erin May would qualify since she played varsity outside of our area. Incoming freshman that will play at the varsity level would also qualify. Let's not get carried away and nominate every incoming Freshman. To win, it really needs to be an impact player, probably a pitcher, or someone with an incredible bat.

Their time will come. Right now, if we tried to name a freshman team, I'm afraid it would become more of a popularity contest. Obviously we have some very talented young ladies in this area, but the older girls have earned their glory, so let's let them bask in it for awhile.
