The questionyou have to ask is where would that team be without that player. Central would still be in the top 3. Nederland would probably be in the bottom without Mosely. Mosely is like a one man show for that team. Mosely is the most valuable player to his team.

I beleive Bum may have attended Nederland.

There was a Reggie White out of Liberty a few years ago. He did go onto a D1 school, I can't remember which one. Don't know if he is in the pro's are not though. I found this: Reggie White, Liberty High School Panthers football legend, returned home and joined The Vindicator as sports reporter. The 1997 LHS graduate was the first Liberty County product to play in the National Football League, joining the New York Jets in 2000 after a successful three-year career at Oklahoma State University. Besides the Jets, White played for the Jacksonville Jaguars and Green Bay Packers in the NFL and the Edmonton Eskimos in the Canadian Football League.

I'm just saying it probably took more coaching to get LCM where they are as compared to WOS. Last I checked Dan Ray wasn't hurtin for recognition. , and I think everyone recognizes that he is one of the top 3 coaches in this entire area.

The Coach of the Year, and Best Coach are two seperate categories. For instance I think Coach Hooks is one of the best if not the best head coach in this area. On the other hand I don't think that you could say he has done a great job this year. Yes, he did his usual in bringing WOS to 9-0 and a potential great year. But, is anybody surprised, by what WOS has done so far? LCM is by far the surprise team of the area, and Moody has brought the team a long way in a short time. It's just how you view the question. While I believe the refs missed a holding call or two, the real difference in this game was Mosely. The kid looked like he tweaked his ankle early in the game, but he never even looked at the sideline. He took a lot of shots in that game as well. He ran the ball, he caught passes, he seemed like he lined up everywhere. The kid showed a lot of heart and desire, and in the 2nd half of the 4th qtr, he was the difference. One of the best I've seen from this area in some time. They need to give him the Willie Ray Smith award right now.
