I am not sure I expected to be 31-2 at this point, but I sure hoped for a good season. That is why Coach of the Year is so hard to pick out. Your always going to guess how that team would have done with this coach or that coach. So is it the Coach or the players? But just like they say about some loaded NBA teams, The Coach has done a fine job of guiding the ship. I will say this, This team has some great chemistry, and I think she has a lot to do with it.

Erica Tindel Made some really good defensive plays and was productive on offense. Don't really have any stats.

Solid Defense and surprising power.

I'll go with you there. New position this year, but she has adjusted quickly. Hitting stats are great, but what it does not show, is how many clutch hits she had, late in the game, when you have to have them. Did an outstanding job, with some clutch hits that won games.

I have to agree with you. Miriam has been steady at the plate, and a wall behind it. She has thrown out her share of runners, and possibly could have thrown out more, but sometimes we're a little late to cover the base. But the biggest thing she does, that does not show up on any stat, is call pitches. That's right, Miriam doesn't just relay the sign, she makes the call. That is what seperates her from the rest. Ashley Boyd is also an outstanding catcher, but I just did not get to see her play this year.

Maybe not, but that could be said of every team out there, if they lost their #1 pitcher, and that includes baseball.

Remember it is like the third school on the right. Seems like they build a new school every 2-3 years. The benefit of passing gas.

Look like Angelle was having trouble with a finger. Surprised their coach left him in a meaningless warmup game. Hope it doesn't set him back for a playoff game.

Coop, There is like 200 students different in enrollment, so it is not like David and Goliath.

Who has Angelle or Ehlert faced of any substance. The true test is how they fare gainst really tough competition.

Brandon Tipton's at Lamar was probably the longest. Billy Ford hit one over the McDonalds at U of H that was by far the farthest ball I have ever seen anyone hit, but it was foul.

My point of view would be from the players on the baseball team. Essentially what you are saying is that their season is unimportant. Instead of them getting prepared for a tough district schedule, their coaches want to go watch the basketball team. I know it's state, but it doesn't change the fact that they are putting the baseball team on the back burner.

The construction on IH-10 east only concerns the LCM game once ever two years. Pretty shallow argument. Schools all over the state routinely travel a good distance to get th their games. I understand it is not as good of a situation as they had, but a lot of teams have it as bad, if not worse.
