The region 3 Class 2A Champion will be decided in a 2 out of 3 series between the West Sabine Lady Tigers and the Lovelady Lady Lions. It will be a clash of styles as Lovelady has only allowed 5 total runs in six games this postseason while West Sabine has scored 92 runs in their nine games this postseason. These two met up in the Colmesneil Tourney early this season with Lovelady eking out a 5-4 win. Will the Lady Lions roar all the way to Austin or will the Tiger Train keep on chugging? Who ya got and why.....

Lady Tigers roll past the Cougars 13-1 in Game 3 to advance to the regional semis. Harlee Franklin led off the game with an inside the park HR, WS’s 24th on the season. Hannah Spring notched the win. WS outscored Jewett Leon (TGCA #6 in state) 30-9 in the series and clubbed five HR in the series.

Due to weather concerns there will be a doubleheader tomorrow with Game One starting at 5 pm and Game Two 30 minutes after Game One. Game Three (if nec.) TBA.
