186 days to the first day of August football practice since the new school will do Spring ball. Plenty of time in my opinion. A new head coach will be in place by Spring break at the latest. Enough time to beat Nederland anyway...

The endzones are getting painted similar to the ones at the Rig in Pearland. One will be some form of WB Bruins colors, name and logo and the other for the new school. A coin flip will determine who gets the North endzone and who gets the South one.

I'm waiting to see on that WB part. How many coaches at different levels have come in after a successful coach has left, had a good 1 and/or 2nd years but then can't maintain what was built and handed to them...

A pay raise was requested and submitted, just don't know for what amount and approval status. I asked this question last night.

[Hidden Content] December 5th, Ashley Elam put out a great article pertaining to the merger of Ozen and Central. He took the time and created what I thought were some great looking helmets and storylines to go with them. Due to being on 2 different committees concerning the Ozen and Central merger, I've been sworn to secrecy but I can tell you that 2 of the names, none of the color combinations and none of the mascots in the article made the list. Someone else will probably leak the list but I won't until later. The students are supposed to vote on them sometime next week and then go before the board for approval on the 15th.

Looks like they'll avoid Barbers Hill...
