If I had to say which way I think they'll go as of today, it will be keeping them separate. Central and Ozen remaining in 5A. A month or 2 ago, I would have said the other way. Without releasing their names, the board members that have talked either directly to me or indirectly, have said the insurance company is not wanting to pay what they were supposed to.

Just going off what I was told but me and him will talk again tomorrow. I'll ask him about that...

I'm confident that a decision will be made. Just not as confident in what the decision will be as I was a couple of weeks ago. No money to pull the merger off as of right now and definitely no money to do work at 88 Jaguar drive. Probably will not receive a decision on the 18th. Not from the phone call I just received a little while ago. The BOM's is still in limbo and the insurance company is not wanting to pay the amount they are supposed to. The AD has to have a decision in to the UIL by February 5th. With all that being said, there is a chance that the Jaguars and Panthers will live on for at least another 2 years...

Never said I was sleep on them and that I didn't think that they were capable. If #3 would have got going, they would have probably beat Central but she didn't. I just don't see them beating Ozen at Ozen's place this Friday. Now next go around when the Lions get the Jaguars and the Panthers at their place, it very well could be a different story.

Nope, expecting it next Thursday, the 18th, at the next BISD school board meeting. Most people in the city feel that the BOM's decision is already made to merge, just waiting on it to be officially announced and to see how they will do the rezoning.
