Yea but he is entering into a "No Fly Zone" Friday. It's kind of like the Bermuda Triangle, things just happen and come up missing in our secondary that sometimes can't be explained.
Some of the fans may be over looking the Raiders a little but I believe Nelson and Company have their sights squarely focused on Lumberton. I'm not overlooking the Raiders by any means and I tell my boys (one on varsity and one on JV) not to EVER overlook ANY opponent. Looking forward to playing on the new field. Plus one of my coworkers son is you all's Kicker and a WR.
I like the balance we are starting to show under Coach Nelson in the spread but if it was to ever show up again, I wouldn't be objected to that offense.
Realville, just curious. Is the Georgia Tech offense the same as the one Vidor runs? I love watching the Yellow Jackets play. Central use to run a variation of this offense under Coach Stowers and we had some pretty good years then.
Soulja, that's not our homecoming game, it was supposed to be against Nederland this past Friday but due to Harvey, it's been moved to the Baytown Lee game...
Hey man, how have you been? I'm looking forward to a good game especially being that the final scores the last 2 years were 35-34 and 28-21 in favor of us. But with Nelson and Bevil calling plays, I will just say keep up...
Well I won't say he won't get his yards between the 20's but in the redzone, it maybe a different story. Tell Coach Babin to stick with the run, pass plays are a waste of a down this week..."No Fly Zone".
I think Coach Nelson keeps our offense pretty vanilla with PN-G coming up on a short week...
Back to the game at hand. I'm just hopping you all's defense comes out of this game healthy with all the chop blocking the Pirates do and that we play on a short week (Thursday) which means less time for any healing. Even though in my playoff scenario I need Vidor to win, Indians will be too much...
Indians 35
Pirates 27
I don't want either of us to look past this weeks opponents, Vidor and Lumberton, but I do feel that is going to be the deciding factor. With the "No Fly Zone" in full affect, I'm not so much worried about the company part, more like RJ's legs and whoever you all's running back is what concerns me.
Balanced team coming up soon. Looking at you all's opponent's, it's weird me saying this, but we will probably throw the ball more than any team that you all play before the playoffs.
