  1. Dayum they both run them QB's a lot!!!
  2. Something we did a lot in the past but not so much this year with probably the exception of our 2nd best WR who is our best CB. Sounds like they are young now but should be a pretty good come the next 2 years. When healthy, Hines makes everyone look silly.
  3. I guess because a loss would all but eliminate the Raiders from playoff contention...
  4. Yea, so get off this thread talking about that! Wait your turn!
  5. I would think the PN-G @ Vidor game would be game of the week...
  6. Uh, I changed my mind, I'm pulling for the Pirates the rest of the way. Aye, aye Captain...
  7. We haven't attempted a field goal this year. I agree with Soulja, 3 TD scores. The coach that almost lost to Lumberton 2 years in a row, is in Killeen. That win by Central last night was a bad thing for the rest of the team's on our schedule in confidence in themselves...
  8. The funny part, doubt it will happen, there could be a 5 way tie at 6-2 between the Titans, Pirates, Indians, Bulldogs and Jaguars. How would you like to be the odd team left out in that situation?
  9. Vidors actual current record is 3-1. I'm predicting they will lose to the Indians this coming Friday but will beat the Lions, the Ganders and the Titans. If that happens, they go 6-2. All Central would have to do is beat the Raiders, the Lions and the Ganders. If the Jaguars lose to the Indians, they'll be 5-3 and if they beat the Indians, they'll finish at 6-2. Just in case you forgot so quickly, we now own the head to head tiebreaker with the Bulldogs as long as it's not a 3 way tie with Vidor. The Bulldogs will beat the Panthers and the Raiders. Their playoff lives will come down to MCM which I'm predicting the Indians to get the W putting the Dogs at 5-3.
  10. Now that I've corrected my standings... Port Neches-Groves 8-0 (Division 2, #1 Seed) vs ??? Vidor 6-2 (Division 2, #2 Seed) vs Crosby Port Arthur Memorial 6-2 (Division 1, #1 Seed) vs New Caney Porter Beaumont Central 5-3 (Division 1, #2 Seed) vs New Caney Nederland 5-3 Lumberton 3-5 I need to know where I can find a Pirate shirt because I am a fan of theirs the rest of the season
  11. Copied, pasted and edited from another thread... I know the games still have to be played but if we all can agree, our 3 bottom teams are Livingston, Baytown Lee and Beaumont Ozen. So looking at the schedules, any of the other 6 teams that still have to play one of those 3, I adjusted their district records to show wins over them and I put the other remaining opponents out to the side. Done alphabetically... Beaumont Central...4-2...Lumberton and Port Neches-Groves Lumberton...3-3...Beaumont Central and Nederland Nederland...4-2...Lumberton and Port Neches-Groves Port Arthur Memorial...6-1...Vidor Port Neches-Groves...5-0...Vidor, Beaumont Central and Nederland Vidor...5-1...Port Neches-Groves and Port Arthur Memorial Normally 5-3 would get you in but we could have a log jam at 5-3 so the for sure magic number is 6...
  12. You are correct...
  13. Yes, it was a legit offside call at the end. They threw a bunch both ways. I actually felt the refs called a pretty even game. Most of ours were unsportsmanlike 15 yarders, I think 3 of them.
  14. That is a big difference...
  15. I'm picking against the Pirates the rest of the way for playoff purposes. Just for next week, Go Indians.
  16. At 2-3 in district play, this is an elimination game for the Raiders. 4 losses got into the playoffs last year but not this year.

  18. Just like he and ALL his Bulldog buddies said prior to the game, that we didn't have a chance, you see how that went. Keep doubting...
  19. We have Lumberton next. That's where my focus is, the coaches and the players. When it's time, I'll give you a prediction...
  20. Yea, I was there and witnessed that game. A 35-24 halftime lead turned into a 38-35 loss...
  21. Congratulations to my Jaguars. Before the game I had no doubt of what this group of young men could do. We had some tough losses to Port Arthur Memorial and Vidor and EVERYONE that didn't wear maroon and grey was counting us out. EVERYONE! They showed tonight what I been trying to tell everyone, we are a pretty sound and balanced team that will make the playoffs. And this group of coaches, did something that hadn't been done in a while, beat Nederland. Nederland has NOTHING to hang their heads about. #3 had at least 150 yards between the 20's but when he got in the redzone, we found a way to slow him down. The kid is quick and our safety's probably were our leading tacklers tonight. For some reason seems like the Bulldog coaching staff went away from him late in the game. #22 was held in check for most of the night. He had a short catch that he broke some tackles on for the tieing TD but for the most part "The No Fly Zone" was in full affect. #51 On the D-line is an animal. With Lumberton, PN-G, Livingston and Lee left, we are back in the thick of things...
  22. I agree. Same thing happened last night in the JV game. We were up 22-14 at the half but didn't do anything in the 2nd half and lost 28-22. Got to put them away because they are not going to quit...
  23. We always struggle with Vidors offense. EVERYONE wrote us off while everybody getting excited behind the Indians and Bulldogs beating up on Livingston and Lee...
  24. That's what happens when you beat up on the likes of Lee and Livingston and think you have something. Same thing for these puppies over here...
