d I don't know why all those extra boxes posted but welcome aboard. Glad to have another Jaguar on here. I'm c/o 95 myself. I agree with you that being balanced is the key. Being one dimensional isn't going to cut it.

Well we will take our chances. Besides the Dayton QB (I don't know anything about him), I know our QB is a better PASSER then the 4 that you have played in district so far...
-
Being a UT fan and watching the 2 current QB's, I was wondering the same thing.

Unless they have footage of the Pasadena Rayburn scrimmage (where they displayed a lot more in my opinion), there is nothing on the offensive side to see in the PA Memorial game and Vidor game besides O-line play. In the PA game, the offense never really got going, hence the 6 points. In the Vidor game, they got away from what got the 1st 2 touchdowns on the Pirates and never went back to it for some strange reason.

Yea because it'll definitely put us on the outside of things. A win here, puts us right back in the thick of things...
-
That was the plan...

The playbook was dumbed down for the Ozen game. Pretty much about 3 plays were used and ran over and over. The entire playbook will be used Friday...

How many were against Lee and Livingston?
-
We've got 31 Seniors that would disagree. I wonder what our record would look like if we opened the season playing Livingston, Lee or Ozen and not Memorial and a pretty good Vidor team. Our boys have 5 games left to determine if they get to play an additional week...

It ain't Friday yet?
-
I'll be there Soulja but you know TVC or whatever his name is for Nederland does those play by play. I'll just do score updates...

-
Ugh, they should with over 2200 students and no school zones being enforced. The powers that be have it set for the Bruins to succeed and Ozen and Central to merge...
-
Yep, with only 17 posts...
-
Yep, a weekend of meaningful games...
-
Well, well, well...

Could you imagine Memorial running Vidors offense?
-
I don't know why you are nervous when you play little old us. We are so unorganized, undisciplined, uncoachable. We will only beat Ozen, Lvingston and Lee this year...
-
Did you mean Friday buddy? Well that makes 2 of us...

I know the games still have to be played but if we all can agree, our 3 bottom teams are Livingston, Baytown Lee and Beaumont Ozen. So looking at the schedules, any of the other 6 teams that still have to play one of those 3, I adjusted their district records to show wins over them and I put the other remaining opponents out to the side. Done alphabetically... Beaumont Central...3-2...Nederland, Lumberton and Port Neches-Groves Lumberton...3-2...Vidor, Beaumont Central and Nederland Nederland...4-1...Beaumont Central, Lumberton and Port Neches-Groves Port Arthur Memorial...6-0...Port Neches-Groves and Vidor Port Neches-Groves...4-0...Port Arthur Memorial, Vidor, Beaumont Central and Nederland Vidor...4-1...Lumberton, Port Neches-Groves and Port Arthur Memorial Normally 5-3 would get you in but we could have a log jam at 5-3 so the for sure magic number is 6 . In my opinion, PN-G has the toughest schedule remaining but I still see them getting in. PA-M has the easiest, and regardless of what happens in the PN-G and Vidor games, just need wins in the Livingston and Lee games for them to lock up a playoff spot. We will know a little bit more after this Friday...

We (Central) were in the same exact hole last year and even lost to Nederland putting us at 1-3 and still made the playoffs...

When we played the Titans, there was no previous game footage. When we played the Pirates (despite knowing the system they run) there was no previous game footage. Both were losses for us. There are 4 games of footage on the Bulldogs and I have confidence that Nelson and company will get their hands on all of them and break the film down properly and come up with the correct game plan offensively and defensively.

man you lucky Da Warden will only give me one emoji...

Ha ha, never bro. My Texans play at 7:30 tonight, make sure you are watching.

Oh, ok, got it now. So that's who our #6 will shadow all night. After playing 2 run heavy teams in Memorial and Vidor and nothing from Ozen, looking forward to playing a more balanced offense. I think our secondary in pass coverage is a "No Fly Zone", just hadn't had the opportunity to show. If Bulldogs beat us, it won't be with the pass...
