Ok, might as well get it started. The streak is currently at 14 years. Neither team was able to scrimmage an opponent. From what I'm hearing, the JV and Freshman games have already been cancelled. 2 new head coaches. Who gets the "W"?

Being that the worst of the rain is not forcasted to come through until Wednesday in the Golden Triangle, I wonder how many JV/Freshman games will be cancelled next week. Depending on how fast this storm gets the hell out of here, I bet there will be a lot of non-district games in jeopardy for next Friday.

I wouldn't have even done JV/Freshman. I would have gotten my Varsity on the field so that they can get some contact before next weekend.

In my opinion, it'll be another rough year for the Panthers. Next year after the realignment, they should drop. As long as they do, they'll be on a more competitive playing field with the likes of Bridge City, Huffman-Hargrave, Lumberton, LC-M, Silsbee, etc. I think next year is when they will break out. Taylor should be given at least 4 years regardless of his record over the 1st 2. He landed in a bad situation.

Man I can live with your prediction on Nelson and the Jaguars finishing 3rd in his 1st year but man I sure want Nederland in the playoffs just so we can go D2 for a change...

Well 4 of those 5 for us were coached by the same person who went 0-4 vs Nederland. I think it should have been at least a 2-2 split but I guess that's where coaching experience comes in...

The last time Nederland played at the Jungle, Central was up 35-24 at the half and we had a coach that had the players (Jaquet, Whaley, Seals, etc.) but couldn't close the deal. We wound up loosing that game 38-35. It won't happen this year...
