  1. Because the key is "he wants to be here" unlike anyone else that just wants to be here for a resume builder...
  2. I guess you are the only person on the board that has family and friends that work in the school system...ok.
  3. Well if you read, the other poster said that Neece knew since the holidays he was leaving to go to Newton...
  4. Just know that my parents and family are from Kirbyville and that I was text about a staff member wanting to come to coach in BISD, preferably at Central or Ozen. It's BS if he knew he was leaving way after the holidays and just told his staff last week. I didn't want to ask him at the time why he wanted to leave a place he played at but now it all makes since...
  5. Now that explains the text messages I received last week from a member on the Wildcat staff...
  6. I agree. We've already got our coach, just have to go through the formalities...
  7. I don't know anything about the 2 programs but to go from head coach at one school to defensive coordinator at a school that is approximately the same size, seems like a step backwards to me...
  8. ...and yes he isn't a current head coach but he is a former one.
  9. It doesn't matter who and how many applied, the job is Jeff Nelson's...
  10. I totally agree. Wouldn't play in my program if I was coaching...
  11. So the school system was good enough for one child to set records but not good enough for the younger sibling? Where did you all find this Indian at?
  12. You must was homeschooled yourself. It's a message board where everyone, including you, can express the opinion...smh.
  13. If the school is not good enough for the child to attend daily like all the other students at that particular school, why is the football team or other extracurricular activity good enough? I think a home schooled kid would have a tough time being accepted by his/her other teammates on that particular team, jmo...
  14. My opinion, if the parents made that decision to home school them, then those same parents decided for there kid to not participate in school extracurricular activities.
  15. Nothing new as of yet but as soon as I do know, I promise this board will know...
  16. Nevermind. Old article that someone at the Surprise reposted today...
  17. He got you with that one Soulja...
  18. 1. PA-M- going to be a tough out this year, I'm expecting them to be better this year than last. That's scary. 2. Vidor- Like Soulja said, that JV team was loaded so anyone that graduated last year, will be replaced and they will be just fine. 3. PN-G- 1 injury away from being out of playoff talk. I hope they don't run the kid as much this year as they did last year. If he remains upright and healthy, the Indidans push for the #2 spot. If he goes down, they don't even make the playoffs. The Indians JV was the worse of the serious playoff contenders teams that I saw last year, not much help there. 4. Central- As far as the Jaguars go, to me, it all depends on who is given the head coaching position. If Nelson is given the top spot and he brings in who I hear is coming to be the DC, the Jaguars will finish somewhere between #2, 3 and 4. The talent is there, has always been there. Leadership and I'm not just saying the last 4 years but leadership has been Central's undoing in the past. Last years team shouldn't have lost a game except to PA-M, it was that evenly loaded across the board. The offense was sacrificed last year for the benefit of one player. In house Jaguar fans know what I'm talking about. The defense had 9 returning starters, that apparently were not put in the best position to stop anyone. It was time for the change and I welcome it... 5. Nederland- If Johnson goes down for the Indians, the Bulldogs get in, otherwise they'll miss again.
  19. Way to represent your current school (Texas), your old school (Central) and most importantly, yourself and your family name. Talked to his dad last week at our daughters track meet and he told me that his son said that he has never been through a strength and conditioning program as intense as what Herman is putting him through. I expect to see this young man at the NFL combine in a year or 2.
  20. Good and understandable post until the last part...
  21. Nelson currently has the Interim tag... Also heard today that the current principal at Central will be the next AD.
