[/quote] I believe that another coaching staff is the answer.  I bet there are many coaches out there that could do a lot better with what he currently has on his roster.  Let's just call it the KNIGHT affect.  Coach Knight came in and took players that he did not recruit and took them dancing. Time for a coaching change...

Glad for the change too...I hope its a whole new coach not currently in BISD with ALL new coaches.  I totally agree that if somebody like Vidors coach with his mentality would have been in place, they would have picked up right where Stowers left off and Central would have never missed the playoffs with Mitchell at QB.  This is not a diss to Vidors program but I know when I was in school that was an automatic W.  Winning is a mindset and he has installed that over there.  Central hasn't had that mindset since Stowers left but its time to get it back...and like UNDERSTAND said, unorganized practices waste time and turn into unorganized gamedays.

Well we know the West team won't be throwing any passes ...

Guess he'll miss the district opener against Central...

Well Bobbymcgee I looked up Kevin Goodwin and like you said "he is the right color for BISD" but I guess will have to wait and see who all throws their name in the hat...

Mr. Buddy Garrity, is Coach Eric Taylor available?  He took some nothings and turned them into winners...

I feel Nelson was a good hire for Ozen being that he was under Stump at West Brook and has them competitive.  But Central has not faired well when they have chosen within BISD for some reason.  So in saying that I hope they pick from outside the city limits ...

Besides maybe because West Brook is 5A I could see where they may be entitled to 1or 2 more coaches.  But there shouldn't be much difference especially between Ozen and Central. What are the numbers?  If you don't have them I think AD Saveat or his secretary would have to give you that info.

I guess he and his staff will be staying in place again for another season...smh.

D3zii good statement about BISD putting their feelings to the side and making a business decision but I just don't see it happening.  As of now he and his staff are still in place...

Well I made the game against LIU last week but it's hard for a 2-12 team to compete with the college football national championship.  I'll see them Thursday...
