  1. In a 3 way tie it would go to points being that none of those 3 teams swept the other 2. Channelview beat United by 3. Deer Park beat Channelview by 3. Deer Park @ United??? In my opinion, if you United wins, they need to win by as much as they can or at least by 4.
  2. AggiesAreWe, on Saturday, November 30th on the Beaumont United Campus... Girls: #4 Humble Summer Creek vs Beaumont United @1:30pm Boys: #10 Humble Summer Creek vs #3 Beaumont United @ 3:00pm Come watch an underated SheWolves team take on a state finalist from last year. This will be the SheWolves first home game of the year. Coach Brown has definitely beefed up the schedule and tournaments for this year. I'll even buy you some popcorn...😀
  3. That's when we can really start having fun making up our own districts....😀
  4. Buggati, if the Calpreps predictions listed above hold true for this week, that will have the district looking like this... School Record y Galena Park North Shore 6-0 y Beaumont West Brook 5-1 LaPorte 3-3 Deer Park 3-3 Sheldon C.E. King 3-3 Channelview 2-4 Beaumont United 2-4 Baytown Sterling 0-6 And these would be the last games... Sterling @ West Brook North Shore @ Channelview LaPorte @ King=winner goes to the playoffs @ 4-3 (I would have to favor King in this game) Deer Park @ United=Deer Park goes with a win because they would be 4-3. United would go at 3-4 with a win because then Deer Park would be 3-4 and loss the head to head with United. United would needs King to beat LaPorte due to United losing to King but beating LaPorte. BUT IF CHANNELVIEW BEATS LAPORTE THIS WEEK BUT ALL THE OTHER GAMES HOLD TRUE TO HIS PREDICTIONS... School Record y Galena Park North Shore 6-0 y Beaumont West Brook 5-1 Deer Park 3-3 Sheldon C.E. King 3-3 Channelview 3-3 Beaumont United 2-4 LaPorte 2-4 Baytown Sterling 0-6 And these would be the last games, Sterling @ West Brook North Shore @ Channelview LaPorte @ King Deer Park @ United And with this scenario, it is quite possible for 5 teams to finish at 3-4 and come down to some crazy tiebreaker that's over my head if LaPorte beat King, United beats Deer Park and North Shore beats Channelview. Realistically I would think King would beat LaPorte, putting them in the playoffs at 4-3. If Deer Park beats United, Deer Park goes to the playoffs in D1, sending WB to D2. But with North Shore beating Channelview and putting them at 3-4, if United beats Deer Park, that would have a 3 way tie at 3-4 that would come down to some points tiebreaker. I probably just confused you more 🤣 but a lot depends on the Channelview @ LaPorte game this week, mind you as long as West Brook doesn't go down to Deer Park and choke...
  5. Come see me in the 21-6A thread...
  6. The scenarios are endless at this point with North Shore and West Brook being the only two teams with playoff spots on lock and Sterling being the only team eliminated. And in reality, the only team in the district that will be eliminated this week if they lose their game is Channelview because they have North Shore the following week.
  7. Cal Preps Predictions... King 31 @ Sterling 3 United 7 @ North Shore 50 West Brook 44 @ Deer Park 27 Channelview 28 @ LaPorte 31 All these predicted winners are what United needs...
  8. ...plus the last time we took charter buses to a game (King) we didn't show much effort.
  9. Yes, I will definitely be pulling for West Brook and LaPorte this week. If they get the wins, all we have to do next week is win on Senior Night... But the Bruin fans will be pulling for Channelview this week and Deer Park next week so that they can go D2.
  10. School Record z Deer Park 13-0 y LaPorte 10-3 y Baytown Sterling 9-4 y Galena Park North Shore 8-5 Channelview 6-7 Sheldon C.E. 11. No the numbers are correct. 600 something sophomores and 700 freshmen but the senior and junior classes are in the 300 to 400 range giving us the number reported. Like Soulja said, it will be a drop to 5A for only 2 years before going back up to 6A with the projected freshman classes coming to BU being around 700 each year. I had a conversation with the BISD AD prior to the game Friday night and we are both in agreement that the drop will do the school some good not only in football but volleyball, soccer, baseball and softball as well. Give those programs and respective coaches time to build and get a few more wins under their belt before moving back up. Girls and boys basketball and track can hold their own in 5A or 6A. Leave early college where it's at. I don't like the program anyway for my own personal reasons...
  12. Brotha man, I stopped making prediction threads after the King loss for us. Let's just come out of this game healthy.
  13. This is only if the playoffs started this coming weekend. There are some important games in the next 2 weeks that could change these pairings up a little. D1 Dobie @ North Shore Deer Park @ Atascocita D2 Kingwood @ West Brook King @ Humble
