Guess I have another buddy on this website...

I agree, dumb $h!t. People that make all the decisions screwed this one up big time. What's wrong with Beaumont Bowl? What alumni does United have?
-
That's a fair analysis. I think they should give the 3rd string QB the start because he seemed like the best passer and use the other 2 guys as skilled position kids in other spots. You are correct, the Rangers had more yardage on that one drive then the rest of the entire game. Soulja and JagMarine, here is another assessment...

I knew I liked you for some reason...

Ok, the 1st yes is really the only one I needed to see. So that means the best that Beaumont has to offer is better than the best that Port Arthur has to offer. Thanks for your honesty...

Glad to have you. Did you make the game last week? If so, what did you think?

Just how we were going to be trying to stop the bleeding as soon as the clock starts against PA Memorial? If I recall, y'all walked out of there with a late TD and a 10-3 victory. So what are you saying? WB is way better than PA? WB has more discipline than PA? WB coaches are much better than PA?

Man I thought that was over when Central was no more but I guess I never paid attention to how they called plays at Ozen. QB runs to the sideline, gets the play, then runs back to the huddle, tells the rest of the team the play which just so happens to be I formation QB bootleg left which means more running for the QB...

The Bruin defense held a CE King that was averaging 39 points a game to 7. And after last nights game, in 4 games, the Bruin defense is allowing 19 points a game which in most cases should equate to a W for y'all in most games.

Beaumont United 45 Baytown Sterling 0/FINAL

My general assessment is that the Timberwolves did what they were supposed to do, beat the team in front of them which was no doubt a lesser opponent. The Wolf defense picked up where they left off from 2 weeks ago. Coming into last night's game, all I heard was about Sterlings RB Hill having over 2,300 total yards last year. Well the defense held him to around 20 yards the entire game in my estimation. The defense held the Sterling offense to if I recall correctly, 1 first down in the 1st half and maybe a total of 5 for the entire game. 10 points in 2 games given up since switching from the 4-3 to a 3-4 scheme and moving a few kids around. No turnovers created by the defense last night but the defense came out of the game healthy going into next weeks match up. Now to the offense. 6 TD's were scored last night but one was a punt return and the other was a kickoff return. So 28 points by the offense was a ok start and something to build on but could have been a lot more but I understand that there was no need to pile it on and show too much going into next weeks match up. 3 TD's were passing (43,5,10) and one running (24). QB seemed to make some good decisions and good throws at times but every now and then it seemed predetermined and forced which luckily didn't result in a turnover. He will be fine. O-line didn't give up a sack that I can recall but it seems like something is lacking in the run game blocking. They are using a RB by committee because to me it seems as though nobody has established themselves "as the man" in the backfield. The potential is there though. A few drops by the WR's but not many and luckily this wasn't a game where it could come back to haunt us. No turnovers last night by the offense but there will be a few guys getting treatment this morning. Like I said earlier, the Wolves, coaches and players, did what they were supposed to do last night, they got the first win in United football history. It was also a good confidence booster for the team as a whole going into next weeks rivalry game. -

MT is the only one and he's not even from here. It's going to be the Beaumont Bowl as far as I'm concerned. -

Man Alumni Bowl. LMAO. How does a brand new school have alumni? People sometimes don't know when to leave well enough alone. Then they are trying to sale those ugly shirts, Lol. Should have just left it as the Beaumont Bowl. Plus I hear it's supposed to be a "red out" for the Bruins as they unveil their all red uniforms. I'm hoping they let us wear our all gold uniforms so it will be a color rush game but UIL probably has a rule against that. -
So King went from a spread when they beat Central 2 years in a row to a flexbone? Ok. We will thank the Bruins and North Shore for the video footage on how to play it.

It's all good man. I'm not an administrator so I can't go update it in my original post. There will be a lot of jawjacking this week between the Bruin faithful and the Timberwolves fans. But by next week i'll be back to secretly pulling for the Bruins... -

He played quite a bit in the 1st half and some of the 3rd quarter. I don't have the official stats but I would venture to say that he had10 to 20 yards for the night, we kept him bottled up. -
