No bitterness about last week Buddy, it was a good physical game. Central played up playing WB, PA-M and SC so I feel they will be ready for district. I hope Central never takes the Titans off of their schedule but do yourselves a favor, replace Ozen with someone that is going to push you all...

What the average weight of SC's o-line? SC gone NEED to offer more than just ONE RB to even stand a chance in this one. The Jags are battle tested and just hoping for another challenge. Between Da Westbrook Cubs o-line and PAM Titans RB's coming in quads (4's). I doubt SC's going to bring more than what the Jags have already witnessed. I don't see it happen with just one chapman

They passed a lot last year and it took more than 4 quarters to get 17 points...

They gave who Central? Where did BCP students come from? How about French? Where is Central located? Now, lets look at Westbrook. South Park kids went to South Park. South End kids went to BCP. North End kids went to French. That leaves the Pear Orchard riding the bus to Westbrook. Last time I checked, Central wasn't in the South End or North End. How about those kids from Bevil Oaks who ride to Central?
 
Everybody talks about neighborhood schools but forgot why they were done away with in the first place. The district offered freedom of choice. You can go to any school. Now that the people have spoken everybody want to force kids to go to this or that school. Creating another high school was not the problem. They just shouldn't have put it in that location. Central was the combination of two 5A schools. Westbrook was originally two 4A schools, then later absorbed a diminishing 4A school. The pear orchard had Westbrook, but gave it up to try and recapture something that has been dead for years.

So I see holding you to 17 points a very doable task...

IMO if central has the defense to hold Pam to 17 points then they will hold png to a low scoring number. That's why I have them winning district.

What makes you think kids don't want to play for Central? I didn't count the heads the other night but according to the roster on the team website, there are 45 on Varsity. Seems like a decent number to being that it takes 22 to get a starting offense and defense. Plus like UNDERSTAND said Central has 2 Freshman and 2 JV teams. That tells me plenty of kids are coming out for the football program...

Now in MY and I say MY opinion, Ozen should have never been created. Beaumont should be a 2 high school town. The district wants to save money, go back to 2 high schools...

The worst part about this and the central Westbrook hand shake is that these are kids. If, as an adult, you bad mouth any kid on this board you should be banned and your identity should be revealed. These are kids. Leon is a good kid. The central kids are good kids. If they were not good kids , they wouldn't have made it in athletics. I would not like all the things that I did as a kid to be posted and talked about. These kids are what keeps us all talking. Support them and help them and don't talk shit about any of them

I dont know you, I didnt witness what happened in the game, and I know nothing about your sons. I do know what its like to have someone run down my child and I know the rage that creates in me as a father.  From your posts in this thread I would say that you have worked your whole life to overcome the circumstances in which you grew up and to protect your children from the dangers you had to face.  If that is true then you have shown your sons what a man really is.  By posting your response here you have defended them like a father defends his kids in a manner that is equal to the way in which they were attacked.  My only advice is to continue to be the example you have been to them so far.  Let your rage pass and show them that a man can be above the criticism of others and forgive those who speak from ignorance.  You and your sons are to strong to be hurt by the word of fools.
