I remember seeing 3 for the championship game between United and GC-M.

Congrats to United Girls basketball team for being recognized by TABC ranking them #20 in class 6A this week..Currently United is the only undefeated ranked team in class 6A top 25...Keep it going...

United making their debut only undefeated team in 6A 

Many of our teams just finished their last tournaments of the year this week.  They should see better officiating the remainder of their seasons.  It all boils down to trying to keep the tournaments on schedule.  The more whistles they blow, the longer the game.  Last night in our championship game, there were a lot of calls that were not made for the sake of time.  Our girls can be physical with anybody but we are also good at knocking down free throws as well as we have some depth on our bench if someone does get into foul trouble. 
As me and my freshman daughter sat last night and watched the game, I told her that tournament basketball is more physical and that she has to play through contact that would normally be called a foul in a district game.  She normally plays PG/SG for her team.  Should it be this way that I have to educate my daughter about this when it comes to basketball?  No it shouldn't but it is...

One game at a time but we should be able to finish the regular season 34-0.  The main goal is to make it to San Antonio, my room is already reserved...

United wins 3rd place game @ Pasadena Tournament over Ridge Point 65 47

Yep.  One of a few goals...  One is district...  Undefeated district mark is within grasp...

Tonight it finally came to a head for me. PNG suffered a devastating injury to one of their players will fighting for a rebound. We are not sure the extent of the injury at this time, but it was clear that her feet got completely taken out from underneath her and she fell on her arm without being able to brace herself from the fall. This was with 3:30 left in the game. Now for the ref part, this injury was due to the refs not taking control of the game, this game was poorly officiated and the physicality of the game was allowed at an extreme level. This has gone on for way to long now and it needs to stop before more injuries happen. The refs need to start calling the game the way it is suppose to be called. Watch the college game and the lack of physicality, because the refs call the game the right way! Sorry if this makes no sense because I am fuming mad right now!

This isnt for you UWS ,,,but do others still want to have this conversation ,no way on this earth should this team get beat by almost 30.... One quality win on the year for Cinco Ranch and that’s against Eisenhower.. There is a disconnect between players and coaches . When all you do is yell,scream and cuss and not correct and teach kids will check out on you !!!!!! 

Watched film on GCM they will be a challenge due to there size. We'll see who controls the tempo.

I may have switched the GCM and Travis, but I thought I wrote down what the BH Tourney people put up on the sheet that was posted on the wall. I have been known to make an error every now and then, just ask my lovely wife, lol.
Either GCM or Travis will be strong squad, hopefully United is up for the task, I believe they will answer the bell.

Close game throughout, not sure why PAM's strategy is not to run everything thru #5 on EVERY POSESSION, but that's why I'm just a parent in the stands. 
Lumberton 1-3 for tournament. Always tough to take losses, but they saw good competition against teams with size and length and held up fairly well. Hopefully, it will have a positive effect for the rest of district play for the young Raider team
May not be at the games tomorrow, gotta try to work on my house to finish that up, hopefully someone else can catch the rest of the scores to finish it out. Good luck United, it was fun watching y'all some today.
