Just getting home from work Xmas party seeing this. Sounds like a typical Livingston home game to me, lol. Last year,watched my daughter have to get hammered and get two flagrant fouls called when they were up by 10 with less than a minute left, after a whole game of "let them play physical".. When the environment gets that hostile during the course of the game, I'm sorry, that's on the refs, and u will never get me to change my mind on this subject. Check it the first 3 minutes of the game, and that stuff vanishes. Player safety trumps irate fans anyday imo.

Yeah I knew his info is always tight,  I think sometimes stuff gets lost in inside some threads when other threads take off. I just happened remembering seeing the schedule he had posted originally and wanted to get it here so people could see it. Good luck to United and the rest of the teams this weekend.

Yea, so the boys are doing pool play style tournament.  I thought the girls were too, but looks like the girls side is more like a 'shootout' or 'classic'...

Aggies can say what he wants to, he's a mod, but the trouble seems to follow a certain school regardless if it is outsiders.  Why no other school?  Nothing happened at the WOS/Jasper game in Beaumont.  But there were incidents outside at the Silsbee @ Memorial basketball game and outside at the Silsbee @ United game.  Seems like the start of a pattern to me.  Memorial came to United and everything was just fine.  Keep pointing the finger...

We are all doing a better job of discussing these girls on the message board this season! Great job to everybody being involved!

63-40 over Silsbee shows some strength.   I am not familiar with the other teams they have played.   Kinda thought Clements and Harker Heights might have been pretty good.  I felt United should of been ranked pre-season top 25 - but I still feel TABC snubs SETX.   It's hard to beat a team that warrants getting into the top 25 when they are all out in West Texas or the Metro Plex.  
But as we all know - polls don't = championships either.... I just want to see SETX teams get more coverage and more respect.
I am going to try and come see some of the games in Livingston this Saturday.

whoaaaaaa now that’s too much disrespect I think Coach English is a very good coach but don’t discredit Coach Boutte because you feel he’s had and easier ride. I can tell you Coach English has NEVER had to deal with the type of kids Coach Boutte has had over the past 25 years. It looks good from the outside in but unless you know you can’t speak because sometimes it goes beyond basketball at these urban schools. That’s neither here or there they both get the job done both deserve the upmost respect...

I’m assuming you didn’t hear about the fight in Pa when silsbee played there. It was in the parking lot this year. I think I’ve only heard of one school going play games more then once and its always when Silsbee team shows up. I heard silsbee had a fight in the silsbee stands this year during a football game. I guess you could call it gossip but a lot of it is valid. But I think they did a smart thing by  moving the game to avoid conflict much as possible.

I completely agree with their decision, only thing I would have against it is jasper and wos were able to play local with no problem, why decide this week to do different? Nonetheless, I think they are just trying to do what they feel is best. Oh well, I’m sure it will be worth the drive

Not talking about anyone's team but at 9-0, we really hadn't beaten anyone that would warrant us to be in the top 25 in 6A.  I just looked at our 6 games for the Livingston tournament and we should come out of it 15-0 but I still wouldn't rank us.  Our district schedule starts next week and we have the Barbers Hill tournament the last week of December, if we are still looking good by then, then I think we will finally crack into the polls.

Hell, I think they should have flipped for home and got it on in Dan R Hooks Memorial or Silsbee Ford's impound yard.  

I’ve been wondering the same thing.  The Butch or Lamar just make sense.
