MR. REALITY

Huddleston has earned his stripes, and he is ready to be a head coach.  Slack's credentials shouldn't even give him an interview.  But word is kinfolk on the board is better than experience.  Sounds like Bobcat@3D is also kin to Slack.  Worst thing Slack could do is move to his hometown.  He will not get any respect there at his age and level of experience.  The Coaching graveyard is full of hometown heroes that went back home to early.  And 3d think before you type, to actually say how many players his defense sent to college.  Uhh lets see in 1A not many make it and last year you had no one close to making it talent wise or size wise.  So maybe you should wait about two years and see.   The talent is supposed to be coming up.  And if you really want to look bad you might just ask Huddleston how many of his players have gone to college.  He will even answer you with a few pro players.

Funny thing is the kids know that the whole interview committee was rigged against Huddleston.  No way that school board member should have been anywhere close to the interview much less vote.  A lot of the kids showed up to the meeting last night in support of Huddleston.  And it looks like most of the community supports him too.  I want to say good job to the community, kids, and half of the school board for seeing that nothing about this was right.  I do feel sorry for Slack and Huddleston because a board member is messing with the lives and families of two good men.  He could have hurt Slack more than anything.  I hope he has not resigned from Hardin yet.  I hope the board member now knows that cheating doesn't help.  Good luck Huddleston in the upcoming election and good luck to Slack in your coaching career also.  And as I have said before, it is never a good idea to go back home and coach or teach.   

HOW DOES A SCHOOL BOARD MEMBER CHEAT WHEN THE COMMI9TTY HAS THE SUPERINTENDENT AND ALL THREE PRINIPALS ON IT . AND I WAS THEIR AND I DID NOT KNOW THAT 2 KIDS WERE A LOT OF KIDS. HOW IS A SCHOOL BOARD MEMBER AFFECTING LIVES OF THESE 2 FINE MEN WHEN 2 HOUSE WIVES AND AN EXCOACH ARE THE ONLY ONES THAT GO AGAINST THE SUPERINTENDENT AND THE 3 PRINCAPALS RECOMENDATION. AND 2 OF THE 3 AGAINST SLACK ARE BROTHERINLAW AND SISTERINLAWNOW CLEAR YOUR HEAD AND LOOK AT THIS AND TELL ME WHERE DOES IT LOOK LIKE THE WRONG DOING IS. HEY I AM NOT AGAINST HUDDLESTON I JUST WANT TO SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT. HUDD IS A GREAT DC ( AND WOULD BE GREAT HC ) MY SON AS AS SOPH WAS 1ST ALLDIST. AND 1ST ALL REGIONAL DEFFINSIVE BACK UNDER HIS COACHING SO I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST HIM I JUST WANT THINGS TO BE FAIR AND FOR THE BOARD TO LET THEM HANG AND HIRE SOMEONE OUR BOYS ARE THE ONLY ONES HURTING FROM THIS THAT REALLY MATTERS!!!!!!!!!! correct me if i am wrong but my nephew told me elijha caruthers played jv due to summer issues. i know the kid and he is a good kid i talk to him when i see him, jusst wanted to add that so people wouldnt think im bashing. but i preddict hd to when because of the # of key players back. but wh will be better than some people give them crdit for. they will have a very strong straight ahead runner in tubbs, a strong LB core , a good QB in my nephew, and i look for hashaw to be the go to receiver. good luck to the oilers this year cause no matter what the outcome of our game we could both be state champs

alot of people know who i am on this site. i am kin to slack and have strong connections with a lot of the kids. to me the best case would be to have slack and huddleston both. huddleston knows the kids slack will motavate them, in what cappacity is not for me to say. i w3ant what is best for the kids. i do know there is more to a.d. than head coach, what i dont know im a welder not an a.d. as long as birdwell stays no matter what the out come there will be someone there to fight for the better of the kids with all he  has. good luck to huddleston, slack, and all other applicants you hold part of the future of or kids in your hands. I STILL THINK WHOEVER THE COACH IS HD HAS THE TALENT AND GRIT TO DO A GREAT JOB THIS YEAR.

The bobcats will have 8/8 coming back next year.  Not to mention the state champ(A. Anderson) in the 100 and 200m playing qb.  The cats will also have the district offensive MVP WR F. Smth to boot.  And don't forget the freight train A. Cook in the backfield.

HD PLAYED ANAHUAC THERE LAST YEAR EVEN THOUGH HD WON I FELT ANAHUAC WAS THE FASTEST AND PROBLY THE MOST ATHLETIC TEAM HD PLAYED. THEIR PROB. TO ME WAS FUNDAMENTALS AND DISCIPLINE,DISCIPLINE,DISCIPLINE.

i have to agree i think with the strong jr. core on football and the key quality srs. we have this is the best shot hd has , had , or is going to have for a while

I PICK HD, ONE REASON IS IM PARTIAL. BUT THE MAIN REASON IS WE FINISHED SECOND LAST YEAR AND REALLY ONLY GRAD. 3 KEY PLAYERS. WE HAD 2 FIRST TEAM ALL REGIONAL, 1 WILL BE SR. (WR & DB )  1 WILL BE JR. ( DB & QB) 1 SECOND TEAM ALL REGIONAL WILL BE JR. (RB & LB). I THINK THE THICK OF OUR TEAM WILL BE JRS. AND SOME KEY SRS. WILL BE HARD FOR SOPH. TO MAKE TEAM WHEN LAST YEAR HAD I THINK 5 OR 6 STARTERS BOTH WAYS THAT WHERE SOPH.

1A - WH and BIG SANDY... WH is losing a great player/leader in Letsinger... also Simmons was good player... not sure bout how many BS is losing but i think it will be a great district race between these two next year... Im gonna have to go with Big Sandy though... because it hurts WH too much to lose letsinger... they have good players coming up, but i dont know if they can replace him...

pretty much looks like the same teams that dominated the area this year in each divison...
