[/quote]my son played on a team that played in both Nations and U-Trip, Nations was by far more organized .  I dont see the need for U-trip here, you can drive to Houston or Lake Charles if you need to play in a tourney. Maybe its "Butch" Thomas starting it up needing weekend commitments to pitch the Butch Hotel again....

[/quote] remember the day, played on 84 team when Beaumont Big League won State,  went to Florida in regional series and got bumped before world series.  Remember picking a couple of players up before State that added some power to the team. 86 team as I recal was the Big League team that got 3rd in world when Folmer and Fackler from French HS received " all world" honors!!!!  Beaumont had a solid group in Big League from 84-86, it was fun to be part of the best baseball talent in the country at the time!!!!!!!

careful Knucklehead, foshee has earned a few stripes.  He is grooming his 9 yo team from last year to polish, they have given up on the 11's and 12's unless they can find a few from Woodville!!!!

Looking forward to another great year at WELL and the opening of the concession stand!!!!!

Who will take the title this year in Little League play, Jasper or West End?
