Riding Solo

It is only going to get worse before it gets better. Coaches and teachers have "NO" control anymore and it is not their fault. Bring paddling back to schools. Schools lost control when they quit paddling. JMO of course. Someone made a comment earlier about young people not fearing or respecting authority. BINGO!!!!!! Believe me it is at every single school.

For some reason "Hill" people hate on you guys. I don't, most are jealous of a successful program. I will pull against you guys when you play teams from the golden triangle but other than that I hope you guys kick everyone's butt.

Yes, I agree Hillguy he/she never did. Just trying to get the topic back on point. The manvel comment pushed me over the edge. LOL!!!!!!

That being said in 2012 this should not be an issue anymore.

My youngest brother played QB for lamarque in 1986 when they played Plano for the state championship. They were not undisciplined back then. Matter of fact I am 9 years older then him and I met many of the players. They were good kids. Every school has their problems. No school should be singled out. Because most are the same. By the way I am from the golden triangle and not Lamarque. All this trash talk needs to stop because no school and no community is perfect.

I am pretty sure that when VP32 started this thread it was about 20 4A not the state of Texas or the orangefield Bobcats. Just saying. I know I started the Orangefield talk. ;D I mean who really cares about Manvel, Dayton or Barbers Hill. They are not southeast Texas in my opinion.  I hope those teams do well but not against teams from the golden triangle.

vp32 don't put much stock in vidor beating Orangefield. I do think it is a awesome win for vidor though. Some parents have turned the kids against the coach at Orangefield. It is really sad to watch how parents are destroying not only the girls program but also the boys. A good coach will win with less talent and sometime if he does not win with talent it is not always the coaches fault. When parents decide to put the "TEAM" first infront of their own child then the wins will come until then expect more "L's". Just because you won at the junior high level does not translate into wins at the high school level. It can if you are willing to put in the work to get better. Have not seen that yet.

Yes, I do think that vidor will compete but it depends on if players can stay out of foul trouble. They don't have a lot of depth or size.

Ozen is the clear favorite, Central and livingston will battle for 2 and 3 then it is wide open for the 4th playoff spot. The other teams will have a hard time beating the top 3.

Some of you WOS faithful were taking the mustang's for granted.  The truely faithful was sticking by the mustang's through thick and thin but some of you wanted to fire the whole coaching staff when they was losing. Some gave this team no chance. I think the coaching staff and kids are proving some of the doubter's wrong. The coaching staff never gave up on the kids and the kids did not give up on them. The proof is in the result's. Just saying!!!!!!!!
