It was originally scheduled for Saturday but got moved to Friday for primetime TV. Lot's of Silsbee folks were going but now cannot. Particularly the Silsbee coaching staff and players.

According to reports the shooters father is who turned him in. His father is in law enforcement. Both his parents are Republicans. This has to be tough on the parents. Particularly his dad. Just an example of being law abiding citizens who try and teach their children the best they can on right and wrong but still sometimes a kid goes wrong in a bad way. Sometimes it just doesn't make sense in some cases.

Watching the press conference this morning, pretty evident that this guy acted alone and was not "hired" by the left for a professional hit. Very glad he was caught. Kudos to all the folks involved in capturing this guy. In particular his own father. That had to be hard.

FYI, the DEC ruled Lowe eligible to play at HJ this season.
