Hull-Daisetta's enrollment puts them in 1A DI 6 man but they chose to opt up to play 11 man 2A DII. H-D will play 1A in all other sports.

Will be the first time these two have ever played.

In fact, I had plans to go to Deweyville at Evadale game this coming Friday but may change it to Sabine Pass at West Hardin.

I was very surprised with their win vs. Evadale last Friday. Might have to go check them out before season is over.

Same here. But my old school self wants to go back to the old SWC days. But that's just me. lol I can remember watching on Saturday morning and hearing the TV announcer say "These are the games of the Southwest Conference!!". Oh what memories.

Of all the games last night, this one surprised me the most.

All 15 games were district games. These two have never played a non-district game.

Silsbee's 16 game district win streak comes to an end. Also, this is only the 2nd time HF has beat Silsbee. The other time was 17 years ago, almost to the day. Oct. 6 2007. Ironically was the same score of 35-14. All time series is now 13-2 in favor of Silsbee.

I believe he could win a state title this season or next and some will still want him fired.
