In the old system, Perrin-Whitt would have faced Jayton in state semifinals. So technically, they still would have made state tourney from 80 years ago. Valley would have saw Jayton in Regional finals.

I promise you, Jayton would not be doing this to Perrin-Whitt or Valley. Heck, not even Brookeland. There was a reason why TABC did not have Bryson in the rankings. Bryson definitely benefitted from the split division.
