I'm going on 62 years of age. Been watching local basketball for over 50 years. Jasper has always, ALWAYS, had athleticism. But not very skilled wise in basketball. Athleticism alone does not make a good basketball. Except for 2, maybe 3 seasons, they have always been pretty poor on the basketball front. One of the main reasons it's been that way is that for the longest time, they did not have a youth basketball program up there. Up until recently, was just no interest. Those kids entering middle school and high school just know street ball and nothing organized.
