I have actually heard two names from two pretty good sources.

Nate Smith, former HC at Vidor and current assistant at LC-M, has been promoted to HC at LC-M.

and Arighetti just took a line drive off his knee. smh

The Astros are done. Urquidy will have surgery and will not come back. Javier will have Tommy John and he will miss remainder of season. Only legit starting pitchers the Stros have is Verlander and Valdez. The other three in rotation is Blanco, Brown and Arighetti. Season is over. This is my best spidersal

With Daspit getting BC job, Smith will be getting LC-M HC position.

LC-M guy (Daspit) was not contacted until last Thursday. Daspit was going to be named head coach at LC-M before BC contacted him. Obviously BC wanted a shot at him before he took the LC-M job. I cannot speak on the hiring process other than what I posted. I was only speaking on what happened to Randall and what I was told. I simply don't see a "railroad" here but I could be wrong. I personally know Smalley very well and he just doesn't seem the type to do such things. Now, the admins above him could be the ones pulling the strings. I don't know.

The reassignment was based not just on this incident but an accumulation of write ups from other incidents. It's my understanding the others received write ups but I could have been told wrong.

From what I was told, this was not the first incident. Robertson had been written up a few times before and it came down to this incident tipping the scale. What those write ups were about I have no clue. I was told this was the Supt. decision just as much as the AD.

I will not post the particulars. Just saying he wasn't "railroaded" and reassigned based on his basketball achievements.

I don't think anyone was "railroaded". His basketball achievements were not what got him reassigned. The coach did have other responsibilities that he failed to take care of from what I know. Like in many cases, he wasn't there just to coach basketball.

If he is referring to LC-M, Jeffcoat was not fired or reassigned. He resigned.

That simply isn't the case here. Also wasn't entirely his call. Taking orders so to speak.

This could be saying something about the prospects of BC and LC-M basketball. The AD could be playing a factor as well.
