  1. I believe you posted this in the wrong thread. This thread is about their 4A/3A podcast.
  2. I am pretty confident there will be. Three teams make wild card. Currently, Seattle is behind only the Yankees (1 game) and tied with the Red Sox. They have a 2 1/2 game lead over the Royals and 3 1/2 game lead over Cleveland. Therefore, Houston currently has a 1/2 game lead over Yankees, 1 1/2 over Boston, 4 games over KC and 5 games over Cleveland. I don't see KC or Cleveland or Tampa Bay or Texas over taking any of the two for a wild card spot. 36 games left to play, so lot's can happen and the trend of late isn't good but I believe Houston will make playoffs as division winner or wild card.
  3. Saw this statement on X. I tend to agree with it. About time to relieve the stress and just see how the Astros baseball season is going to wind up--good or bad--and accept their fate. Injuries have decimated and the long season has ground them down
  4. If you know of any Thursday scrimmages being moved to Friday because of the weather, please post here. Thanks
  5. Is this based on killings per capita or just total annual?
  6. Astros lose 1-0 on a two out bases loaded walk. smh
  7. Houston and Detroit headed to extras tied 0-0.
  8. Would be the 2nd time in about 6 years that TEA took over BISD.
  9. Same here. I made that statement then realized that they can't play 6-Man because of their enrollment. You can opt up, but not down. Hull-Daisetta opted up this past realignment to stay playing 11-Man football. They could have played 6-Man due to having 101 enrollment. They are 2A DII for football but 1A for all other sports. If SP continues to struggle getting football numbers on a consistent basis, then the suggestion to just drop football all together may be the best option. Just be a basketball/baseball school like several schools in our area are with those type numbers.
  10. Hearing some Thursday scrimmages will be moved to Friday due to the weather. Stay tuned
  11. Could be having an enrollment to enable one to play 6-Man. Pretty sure that would eliminate SP. I wasn't really thinking enrollment so my comment about them playing 6-Man is probably out of their control.
  12. Maybe not fold football but at least drop to 6-Man. Burkeville and High Island did and they may not be successful on a yearly basis but they play out the schedule with no number issues.
  13. Astros are 7-6 in the last two weeks, including tonight's loss.
  14. So you are suggesting that Houston will go 10-27 the rest of the season? And basing on how they have done since All Star break? Since Houston is playing around .500 ball since the break, I'll take that bet.
  15. 10-0 loss. Houston has been outscored 33-7 in last four games.
  16. Astros getting whooped again. Down 10-0 after 7. Arrighetti went five innings, giving up five runs on seven hits, walking four. Scott gave up five runs on five hits in 1 2/3 inning.
  17. Sabine Pass did cancel their week 1 game with Danbury.
  18. Getting word that Sabine Pass may not have enough players to field a team this season. Anyone else heard this or have info on this situation? I have reached out to my sources for confirmation.
  19. I agree. I compare this news source as the same as the Gateway Pundits of the world that get posted here daily.
  20. I agree. Very biased news source. Same as Gateway Pundit and a few others that get posted here daily by reagan.
  21. I'll be attending Orangefield at Silsbee Thursday night. Friday night I will be at the poker room at the Nugget.
