  1. That part was left out of the final script. It was edited due to it's obscene nature.
  2. Jeremy Johnson qb Silsbee He definetly has the most upside of any soph. playing right now.
  3. With the assumption that Lumberton beats LCM. You got to be careful of those " we've already won " games.
  4. You got that right! But what you are is winless all time against Silsbee.
  5. It has really gotten deep around here. Now we have WOS fans making accusations of two teams conspiring to beat them. To say that Giddings had Orangefield " practice " Giddings plays in the game against WOS is just down right ludicrous. It wasn't good enough to just get beat by them, now ya'll are looking for a conspirecy. Good grief! And you wonder why you guys catch so much flack.
  6. Did I miss something here. I didn't realize that the Tigers were already out of the playoffs. Silsbee has games left with Kirbyville and Jasper, this thing is far from over. Silsbee controls their on destiny, win out, they are in. That also applies to the Wildcats and Bulldogs. Like I said before, counting unhatched chickens.
  7. Having not seen Kirbyville nor Jasper yet, I would still have to believe that WOS is faster. They scored 31 and 41 points against these two teams and held them to 7 and 21( the last score from Jasper was in garbage time, could have been 14). With the Mustangs only able to score 17 against Silsbee, I like the Tigers chances of matching up speed for speed against the Wildcats and Bulldogs.
  8. As long as Lumberton wins at least one of their two remaining games. Otherwise they would have 3 losses and the other teams, Ned and Dayton would only have 2 if Dayton beat PNG in the last game.
  9. It's truely amazing to me how a simple question gets turned to a WOS against the world thread. Yes, I know, the thread was started by a Jasper fan and it just so happened to be after the Bulldogs lost to the Mustangs, and WE ALL KNOW that WOS does their little thing at midfield. But c'mon folks, why be so offended? It was just a question of is it or isn't it. You WOS fans immediately got defensive with the subject, which should raise some eyebrows. You question why the word " arrogance" is thrown in these posts, but when most of the WOS fans believe that every single thread started on this board is about WOS football, directly or indirectly, it's easy to think that way. WOS has been on top of the football pile for quite some time and they will remain there, no doubt about it. With that comes the pot shots at the top dog, and I completely understand how the fans feel they need to defend their team, which you should. But I got news for you, the world doesn't revolve around WOS football, get over it. The thread actually was asking about any team that does it, not WOS. There are other teams that do that, in fact Silsbee used to do it but only at home. They never did it on the road and now they choose not to do it at all for whatever reason. Yes, it is easy to believe that this thread was only started to take a stab at WOS, but let's not be so self centered to believe that all the time, because that is just not the case. Oh, and to answer the question of the thread, if I coached a team, I would not allow them to do that on the road, it's just not my thing, disrespectful or not.
  10. After reading all of these posts on this thread, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see a trend here. Hilarious!!

  13. Trust me, if Silsbee gets beat by 20 points, it won't be a good game for the Tigers. I decided to lower myself and pull a k-villeballa common opponent analogy( spelled it that way on purpose). Here it is: Silsbee 6 WOS 17 -11 Silsbee 42 Orangefield 0 +42 Silsbee 55 BC 7 +48 Silsbee 36 HJ 7 +29 total 139 31 +108 Kirbyville 7 WOS 31 -24 Kirbyville 49 Orangefield 42 +7 Kirbyville 67 BC 25 +42 Kirbyville 52 HJ 16 +36 total 175 114 +61 For Silsbee, that's an avg. of 27 point scoring margin, Kirbyville's is 15. That gives the Tigers a 12 point advantage which btw will be the margin of victory for the Tigers. Score: Silsbee 36 Kirbyville 24 Okay, so none of that really means anything, but the result will be the same, a Silsbee win.
  14. The Alex Durley's of the world are few and far between. If the PA people are waiting around looking for an Alex Durley to come in to right the ship, they will be waiting and looking for a long time. I too have to question not just the administration there ( sups, princ., ad's, coaches) but the people and students of the city. It sounds like a lot of in fighting.
  15. I'm feeling you Howard, preach on, preach on. I will say that my fellow Tiger fans stick it out most of the time, they tough it out. There have been a few occasions though, but not many. I to have noticed lately how the Jasper fans have become more of a bandwagon type. Even though Jasper was terrible last year, I was really suprised in how few came to the game against Silsbee last year, wasn't more than 40 people on the visitors side. Also, this past Friday night, HJ only brought about 40-50 fans for that game. It looked very empty over there. Those kids on the field and up in the stands deserve better support from their communities, regardless of how good or bad they are. Like you Howard, it is a big pet peev of mine.
  16. I am quite sure that none of the Tiger basketball players are on the cross country team. I do know that several are on the Silsbee football team that put a whoopin on the Hawks Friday night.
  17. A ploy?? Are you kidding me? I was satisfied with it being just a classy move, now it's ruined.
  18. I agree, Kirbyville has a long way to go in that regard. But, they have beaten Jasper 3 out of the last 4 years, so that's saying something.
  19. Two things that never change: k-villeballa predicting a Kirbyville win over Silsbee and Silsbee beating Kirbyville.
