  6. [Hidden Content] Both men and women win outdoor track and field national titles!!
  7. I feel like our team is just as good as last year's team and they did everything but beat WOS at their place. I still pick the Stangs to win district, but my Tigers owe them one after last year's loss. I will make my predictions on that game after week 3.
  8. Particularly since we will have our secret weapon there. One of the bigger news involves this person: [Hidden Content] For one special night in Tiger Stadium! WOS fans, be prepared. Wink
  9. Everybody agree with this DCTF prediction: 21-3A Offensive: QB Jeremy Johnson (Silsbee) Defensive: DE Steven Cook (WO-S) Key Game: Hardin-Jefferson @ Bridge City 1. WO-S 2. Silsbee 3. Bridge City 4. Hardin-Jeff 5. Orangefield 5. Hamshire-Fannett Maybe a 1a and 1b.
  10. As of today, our tournament is full. We will take standbys all the way to next Wednesday. It is normal for us to get a couple of cancellations next week, so there is a chance someone could play by being on the waiting list. You can still attend the tourney by purchasing a sponsor packet. For $85 you get two all week tournament badges, 5 meal tickets per badge, and beverages both non and alcoholic all day every day of the tourney. The meals included are a shrimp boil on Thursday evening, hamburgers and all the trimmings at lunch on Friday, catfish dinner on Friday evening, BBQ lunch on Saturday, and our famous and traditional Father's Day fried chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and green beans on Sunday at lunch. Plus we will have entertainment each night in the clubhouse. Special entertainment on Thursday night, dance with live local band on Friday night, bingo on Saturday night and then awards ceremony with a buffet on Sunday evening.(the buffet is at a nominal fee) Come join in the fun and watch some quality golf as our professional flight is one of the best we have ever had and is as good or better than any local tournament has ever offered.
  11. Got mine 2 days ago. It's nice to have friends.
  12. I don't see where anyone is hanging their hat on any game. The guy just posted about what game he saw, that's all.
  13. I agree with DV. That was two different sitiuations. Kobe is still in the series, Lebron's was over. I think you will see everyone shake hands at the end of this series, whoever wins it. Spinks, you're reaching a bit here.
  14. I remember that game. Silsbee had two chances to score that night, threw an int in the endzone and fumbled at the 7 yard line. Yes, Morrissey was on that Tiger team. He was a man among boys back then.
  15. Actually, that wasn't a playoff game. It was a regular season game that Silsbee won 48-44. Jay McGuire rushed for 454 yards that night. He had a total all-purpose yardage of over 600 yards in that game with 6 td's. Now Silsbee and Nederland did play each other again that year in the playoffs but McGuire did not play. He had broken his leg in the regular season finale against Jasper. You would think that Silsbee wouldn't of stood a chance against Nederland without Jay but they beat the Bulldogs 34-7 in that playoff game. Stanley Rhone, Silsbee's fullback moved to the tailback position in that game and rushed for 190 yards, 3 td's. Also, in the regular season game, Silsbee chose to play a zone and not blitz and the Nederland QB Hood, picked Silsbee's secondary apart. In the playoff game, Silsbee went man defense and blitzed pretty much all night. They sacked Hood 10 times in that game, with 2 int's. It was a great defensive game plan by the Tiger coaches. I have both those games on tape, watch it every now and then. Was Nederland 3A at that time? No, Silsbee was 4A. Silsbee has just been 3A for the last 5 years. And Jasper was 4A as well? Yes, Jasper was 4A as well. Jasper only dropped down to 3A just a couple of years prior to Silsbee dropping down.

  18. That's because there are a million minor league and developmental league teams out there, or so it seems.
  19. A simple suggestion...Drop the BOJO crap and people will take you more serious. That was a horrible rip off idea from a horrible coach and is seen as down right laughable by the folks on this board and around the GT. You guys have a new coach with a new attitude and should be moving forward in the future. A new coach who tore down all the bojo crap...what i don't understand is why everyone is taking PNG seriously what do they have that would hint anything better than last year, unlike LCM. You just have to realize that this site is ran by PNG grads. PNG fans get on this site and try to build their teams confidence with optimism. There is nothing wrong with that , but don't believe the hype. Good luck to both BOJO & PNGOJO ! Who in charge is a PNG grad? I believe the administrator of this site is a proud WOS grad. Wrong he is a Jasper Grad Isn't coop a Mustang? The owner of this site is a Jasper graduate. Coop is an administrator, true, but we are talking grads here, right? Kerry is a Mustang, just not a grad.
  20. LOL You can say that again. Thanks for the props.
  21. The owner of this site is a Jasper grad. The admins are Silsbee, PNG, Orangefield, LCM, and I believe Nederland. Our moderators cover just about every school from our area. No one school runs this site.
