  1. Standings through two sports: Boys Silsbee 17 WOS 15 HJ 15 OF 6 BC 5.5 HF 3.5 Girls HF 15 OF 14 Silsbee 13 HJ 11 BC 7 WOS 2 Combined Silsbee 30 HJ 26 OF 20 HF 18.5 WOS 17 BC 12.5
  2. Split the points. If there was a tie for 1st, like with Silsbee and HJ in basketball, then you combine 1st and 2nd place points and divide by 2.
  3. These are the sports that I'll use: Boys Football Basketball Baseball Track Golf Girls Vollyball Basketball Softball Track Golf We'll use this point system: 1st 10 2nd 8 3rd 6 4th 4 5th 2 6th 1 I'll do a boys and girls score and then a combined score.
  4. I also heard this meet wasn't run too well. I also heard that WOS had to borrow some equipment from other schools just to put this meet on. Things like hurdles and high jump pits. Why hold a meet if you don't have the proper facilities to run it?
  5. If he comes back or not, this site will carry on as usual, with or without him.
  6. I will try and come up with a scoring system for us to track. Are we talking just boys sports or all sports?
  7. Dove, I think DV has his own personal baggage that he had prior to these messageboards that he has to worry about. His "image" has been tarnished some time ago. Nothing that this messageboard or any other has not seen before. You are right, you never know who reads these boards. His image didn't seem to bother him before and he didn't seem to care who read his comments before when he was employed at other places. :
  8. These were all hand held times, no FAT. (Lumberton still behind the times ;D) Did I say that out loud?
  9. You can listen to all the action by clicking the linc provided below. Broadcast will start at 6:45pm. Enjoy! [Hidden Content]
  10. Heck, Gabe could buy for all of us since he owes me $20. ;D
  11. The Silsbee Tiger boys and girls track teams won the Lumberton Raider Relays held at Raider Stadium yesterday. The boys scored 118 to edge second place Bridge City at 116. BC scored 40 points in the last two races compared to Silsbee's 10 points to cut the margin down to two but was not enough. Silsbee was led by Jeremy Johnson and Chris Roundtree as both won their respective events that they participated in except for one. Johnson won first in the long jump, 100 meters, and was the anchor leg on the winning 4X100 relay. Roundtree won the 110 and 300 hurdles and also finished 5th in the triple jump. Silsbee took two of the three relays, winning the 4X100 and 4X200. BC won the 4X400. The girls won in dominating fashion as they scored 126 points to distance themselves from second place finisher Kountze at 86. The Lady Tigers were led by Douglas who won both hurdle events, 100and 300, and placed 2nd in long jump and third in triple jump. Silsbee's top jumper Chastity Foster did not compete in this meet because she will be competing at the Texas Relays this week. Silsbee swept the relays winning all three events by very comfortable margins. Here are the Tiger results and their distances and times: Boys Long Jump 1. Johnson '22 "6 1/4 6.
