Bobcat05, I made that post about WOS fans because football is the "ONLY" sport they post about. I don't think it's fair to make the comparison. Silsbee has fans that post on the football, basketball, baseball, track, soccer, tennis, golf, softball, volleyball, and sometimes the girls basketball. The support from WOS in the "other" sports pales in comparison to other schools in our area. That's why I called them out. I pointed out that their basketball team could be going to the playoffs yet they still had no support over here for the team. You trying to lump Silsbee into that mix is just wrong. I admit, I do not post enough in the girls basketball forum, but I do post over there. Funny though, I see you post ONLY in the girls and boys basketball forums. I don't see you posting anywhere else supporting Bobcat sports.

I am not sure. It was not available for their tournament and I was told then that it probably wouldn't be ready till next year.

It's a little early to know the locations. 19-4A and 20-4A still have some seeding to be decided upon. There maybe some district playoff games to be played first.

How am I knocking HJ? I am only laying out the truth. The poster assumed Liberty would play either Silsbee or HJ and I corrected him by saying there is an outside chance that Liberty could play WOS as well. You guys are overly sensitive. Jeesh! Also, what other post did I supposedly knock HJ? I did not know I HAD to be an unbiased moderator. Lazeek doesn't carry that moniker.

There is an outside chance that WOS could move up to the runner up spot. They would have to beat HJ tonight, then beat Orangefield and have HJ lose to Silsbee Tuesday night, which then would force a tie between HJ and WOS for 2nd. They would then playoff for the runner up spot. WOS would need help, but it's not out of the question.

What makes you think I am getting ticked off? I am having a debate about basketball. You obviously don't know me that well. As far as I am concerned, you can continue your bashing of Silsbee, you are not doing me any favors by stopping. I think you are the one that needs to "lighten up". You are the one that seems to be getting all hot under the collar because someone is debating basketball with you. Is it because you feel so superior? You need to step down off that pedestal. You'll never convince me that Silsbee is not capable of beating this year's Ozen team. You can call me a homer for thinking that way, but that's what I beleive.

Baseball season is still so, so far away. Basketball has to be completed first and FOREMOST, before baseball can begin. ;D

1. My favorite Astro memory: In 1986 me and a buddie of mine watched a total of 37 innings of baseball between the Astros and Dodgers in less than 24 hours. We watched a 21 inning marathon on Saturday night then came right back for the 1pm Sunday game that went 16 innings. We got 4 games for the price of 2. 2. The worst thing that has happened to baseball is not steriods. It was when all the ballparks stopped serving beer after the 7th inning. 3. I was on vacation with my wife in San Fran and I went to the Oakland Athletics FanFest. I got to hit BP on the field and took fly balls against the wall. I also took my swings at a pitching simulator that had me facing Clemens, Ryan, Eckersly, and Glavin. I made contact on Eck and Glavin, wiffed on Clemens and Ryan. 4. I have an autograph baseball of Nolan Ryan. I also have an autograph baseball, hat, and photo of Roger Clemens, anyone want them? 5. My dad and I always go to the state basketball tournament but we always found time to take a break from the basketball tourney and go over to catch a Longhorn baseball game at Disch-Faulk. I enjoyed wearing my Aggie garb while attending.

# 5 is pretty dang cool! Those stories are what makes baseball the best. Old stories like that from other sports cannot compare. Who says?
