  2. Chris Barnes of Silsbee was the Gatorade State track athlete of the year his senior year, all classifications. 100 meter state champ 200 meter state champ 3rd leg 400 meter relay state champ ( 40.3 ) 4A team state track champs '88 2nd fastest time in 200 meters in nation that year
  3. Silsbee- Donovan Harris- all district wr and safety Daniel Paulas- all district off. tackle( several colleges looking at him ) Harris could take over the quarterbacking duties unless B.K. Johnson's little brother steps up and takes command of the position. Jeremy will be a soph. and is a very good passer but will have to step it up in the run dept. Silsbee has always liked having a soph. qb, leads to having a 3 year starting senior qb, which is always a good thing.
  4. Heard that before. Keep up the faith.
  5. If anyone saw what Brown did last night, they would take Ryan in a heartbeat. Brown is too much of a pouter. Ryan definetly has the better attitude and is not too far behind in the talent area either. I would take Ryan Donahoe.
  6. There are 3 games left, 1 win won't do it just yet.
  7. Congrats Lady Tigers on the win. Coupled with the Orangefield loss tonight and with an almost certain win over Jasper Tuesday, the Silsbee Lady Tigers are district champs for the third year in a row.
  8. Hawks win in triple overtime 90-89. Ryan puts his uniform on with 1 minute left in 3rd ot and comes in and drains a 3 at the buzzer to win it. That guy is simply amazing!
  9. The Enterprise was talking about TONIGHT'S games, not Friday's games. You guys kill me.
  10. Congrats Billy!! Whooooooooop!!!!
  11. I believe Lamar is begining to fall apart, if not already. The team is in trouble on and off the court. Lot's of questions to be asked: where was Mahoney? what's up with JD? why the " no comment " by the assistant regarding these questions? Why all the mystery? I am hoping Roc answers some of these questions tonight on his call in show. I know I'll be calling. Another question, and probably the most important one of all, is for Coop. What the hell happened to the broadcast last night? I'm no conspiracy theorist, but I did read where Roc was in the production truck all game since he wasn't allowed in the building. Hmmmmmmm??
  12. Congrats Dravanni! Welcome to Aggieland. Whooooooooop!!!!!
  13. Looks like everything is going along about the same as it did the last time. A lot of people( particularly Hawk fans ) predicting a HJ win over the Tigers. Maybe not as big a margin as predicted as last time( some were predicting 20 and 30 point blowouts ) but still 10-15 point wins are being predicted this time for the Hawks by their fans. Got to admire your faith, but sometimes it takes more than once for people to learn things. You guys go ahead and fill up that small place of your's, the Tigers will not be intimidated. The Tigers are beginning to smell blood, the feeding frenzy is about to begin. I'm predicting a Silsbee win, but very close, 3-5 points. The Tigers will end distict on a 16 game winning streak and be district champs for the third year in a row. I hope no one takes this post too personal, I'm just having a little fun here.
  14. Terrance Jones was a beast, 22 points 19 rebounds. Congrats Tigers, great win.
  15. Easy huh. Easy as the 19 point loss last time?
  16. Okay, I'll stick my neck out. Silsbee by 15, 75-60.
  17. There is another scenerio where they would face each other earlier in the playoffs. If HJ was to finish first in district and WOS third, I believe they would face each other in the third round, game before regional tourney.
  18. Great, I'll be in touch.
  19. I hear you Lazeek. I really didn't expect you to post anything. I know you are a class act even though you hang with spinks. lol You can tell me later, I am interested to hear what you have to say. As for the MGA, trust me, you are in if you want to play. I got a little pull out there since I am MGA prez. You could have played last year you know. I would like some info on the Terrell Garth at BCC. I would love to play in that. Since I am so involved in running our tournament, I don't get to play it, been six years now since I've played our tournament, been working it. I been wanting to play a big tournament for awhile now. Think you can get me in that one?
  20. Silsbee by 7, 70-63
  21. What elements would that be? Enlighten me.
  22. I decided to go to this game instead of Silsbee's game and I am sooooo glad I did. WOW!!! What a game by Ryan Donahoe. 38 points and the 90 footer. He also was money from the free throw line, missing only 1 out of 20 attempts. He simply took this game over single handedly. I haven't seen a player do that since Silsbee's Darrell McArthur, McDonald's All American, took over a playoff game against Livingston when he scored 45, 32 in the second half. Donahoe is for real! I also thought WOS got tired in the second half, HJ out hustled them for every ball in the second half. Earl Thomas played his guts out trying to stop Donahoe and then having to run the offense. Earl never left the floor, neither did Ryan. I gave Earl props after the game on his gutty performance, he played hard. Great game to watch, glad I went.
  23. I think we've been over this Galena Park thing. It is not considered an area stadium. If we include that stadium, then the Berry Center is way better than Galena Park. But, like I said, none of these are local stadiums.
  24. Word is that the new hire is.... well I'll just let ya'll wait till tomorrow.
  25. Silsbee defeated Orangefield 60-52
