I will travel down to Winnie to bring you 23-2A district action when the East Chambers Buccaneers play host to the Kountze Lions Tuesday night, the 13th. Kountze comes in with a 3-0 district record, standing all alone a top the district standings after taking down Anahuac last Friday night. East Chambers stands at 1-1 in district after beating Hardin but then losing to Anahuac. Kountze looks to keep their district record spotless while the Bucs try to get a big win at home to keep them in the early playoff hunt. This has always been a good rivalry game so we should expect an overflow crowd. It doesn't hurt to have a top notch girls game to lead in for this broadcast as the Lady Lions and Lady Bucs will get things started. Tipoff time will be approximately 7:30 with broadcast time around 7:20. Come on out and catch some great basketball, 23-2A style, or just catch all the action right here at Setxsports.com! Navasota did lose some scoring and rebounding when Dexter Pratt enrolled at LSU this semester. He avg. 16 points and 6 rebounds for them last year.

Yes Huntington did drop out but Lufkin Hudson replaced them. Also, Liberty Hill was #20 last week also but they are in Region 2, not 3.

Maybe he will go to Florida instead, better education and football program. Meyer said it perfect after the BCS game.........."if your fast and athletic then Florida is the place to go"!!!!!! Jeremy would qualify.

There were no nominations for any Dayton offensive lineman and like mentioned earlier, the only defensive player to be nominated was Bethea.

The runnerup in our district would face Navasota in the second round, providing that our runnerup wins their first round game. Navasota gets the bye in the first round. Of course, the Rattlers would have to win their district first, which they should.
