That is our goal, just like every year. But sometimes winning district is not always the best road in the playoffs. Why it is like that, I have no ideal. But this year it is an advantage for the first time in a long time. For onething if you win district you have a bye. I would rather play and stay sharp. I hate a bye. Maybe after the Lady Bobcats win district, they can schedule a warm up game with my Silsbee Tigers to keep them sharp. I am guessing you are talking about the boys. The boys would not be focused on the game. ;D ;D ;D We tried to play a warm-up game last year and no one would play us. Also, "Aggie" what would you do without a message board? Probably drive your wife insane, if you are married. I drive my wife insane with one. Yes, I meant the boys, and right, they would not be too focused on the "game". My wife is actually a member here on the site. I drove her crazy before this site was ever around. After almost 20 years of marriage, I need another outlet. She gladly kicks me out of the house to go and broadcast games for this site. But, she knew who she was marrying to begin with, an ex-athlete, sports fanatic. We are both a like, except I have been married 25 years make it 26 in April. ;D I like hearing that couples stay married. Your wife and mine are lucky, they married good men. : : That is the understatement of the year! ;D

Bleed, I may not know everything about Orangefield basketball, but I know something about it, not nothing as you say I do. I not only keep up with Silsbee basketball but the area as well. With that said, I'll always defer to someone who I know has more knowledge of a subject than me.

Bottom line, Lamar is just too small at the guard position to compete with the better programs in the country. Also, Lamar is not big enough inside to be a shoe-in for a top seed in conference tourney. Roc has to get bigger players on the perimeter.

That's three quarterbacks in this first year signing. I am curious if he'll sign anymore.

If it takes fans 'spark' this team what are we paying the coaches for? And if you or anyone else feel so strongly about my presence being needed at these games, get the district or UIL or whoever to let the girls and guys play their games at the same place. I think they tried that one year a few years back. This game made us better even it it is a loss...I'm sure the coaches..fans..saw things that need to be worked on and you see those kind of things when you are in a closer game rather than blowing out teams. Aggie take your heart medication before you read what is below.. Orangefield is going to split with Silsbee ;D I know you meant that in jest. BTW, I see where some of you keep referencing the fact that Kelly beat Ozen but fail to mention some of the games that Kelly lost. You can't be one-sided. Yes, they did beat Ozen(how they did that I'll never know) but more importantly they lost to two of Orangefield's district rivals, Silsbee and HJ. I think those results have more significance in relation to the Bobcats.
