tvc184, I personally thank you for this post. You are correct, no one has been charged with anything, yet. The three were arrested on the probable cause affidavit. I too wish folks would hold their tongue on the "they're guilty, not guilty" thing. It's just too soon. Sadly, I don't get to make that call. As for the media reports about those kids being charged, just shotty reporting and sensationalizing is what it is. We got a lot of that around here, motivated as well. :

Definetly agree with this. But, this is not a school problem. Then why is the media calling them football players and a cheerleader? They are being classified in the media as being representatives from "school" organizations, huh? I would say you need to ask the media that question. My first thought would be that it sensationalizes the story. Gives it more "pizazz". Headlines wouldn't be that grabbing if it said "18 and 17 year old busted for sexual assault" Kerry, Gabe, anyone else in the media like to answer the question this person has asked.

I agree with every single point you have made. All of them right on point. Gas, I too wish I knew why the Tigers don't play better against other opponents. It's frustrating to say the least. Silsbee is just not very consistant and seem to play up or down to the level of their opponents. We all know where that lies.

That actually averages out to 20.1666666.... which means they are tied for #50 with 20.17 as well. Brookshire Royal got the spot since they have a higher average margin of victory (which was the tiebreaker). I will gladly add Silsbee on there though Okay, didn't know about the tiebreaker. My bad.
