There's a good possibility that Silsbee could face WOS in the regional quarters. If Silsbee can beat Bryan Rudder and WOS defeats Coldspring, then these two will face each other in the quarterfinals on that Monday. Would be a local flavor playoff game.

Not sure. Could be Huntsville or maybe Conroe.

But, I spoke to the HJ coaching staff after the game and they felt that the refs couldn't call that tech due to the fact that 3 of the Hawk players were too verbal after some calls.

The dry spell that Silsbee went through in the 4th was what killed them. They went scoreless from the 7 minute mark to the 3:15 mark. That 3:45  going scoreless was very costly. HJ went on a 10-0 run during that span.

Hill fouled out.

The #4 state ranked Silsbee Tigers will take their undefeated district record on the road to Sour Lake tonight to take on arch rival Hardin-Jefferson Hawks, #11 in the state polls, in the final game of district play. Silsbee, #1 in the HoopInsider poll for the 10th straight week, comes in with a 26-2, 9-0 district record and has already wrapped up the district championship. Hardin-Jefferson, #4 in the HoopInsider poll, has a 30-4, 7-2 district record after going down in defeat to the WOS Mustangs last Friday, 72-71. HJ needs a win to give themselves the #2 seed or they could face WOS in a tiebreaker game if they were to lose tonight. Silsbee defeated HJ 50-41 in the first meeting this season. Actually, I was wrong on the alltime record between Silsbee and Kirbyville. Silsbee leads the series 16-2. As for that "scrimmage" last year. Both teams scored 1 td, that's how it finished.
