Costs. No NCAA money to support that tourney. Lamar men's team should have got an NIT invite. Saw a few of the teams that are playing NIT. Lamar had a better resume than a few of those teams. Question would have been if Lamar would have accepted the invite?

Saw on X where tu will decline a NIT invite if they do not make NCAA.

Any news on these fronts? I haven't heard anything yet.

It does follow the student to another public school district. Public school districts are funded by the state per enrollment. School district lose money when their enrollment drops while it increases when their enrollment grows. So you are saying that your school tax money stays in the city you pay it and doesn't go to the state? As for the throw back, I would suggest what you would likely suggest a person on welfare do. Get a better job and get off welfare. Take care of themselves and not let government take care of them.

When a student transfers to another public school, that school will receive funding from the state for that student. State funding to a public school is based on enrollment. Are you suggesting that the parent (s) receive funding as well for making that transfer? Wouldn't that be double dipping the state? I thought you were for less government?

It's very simple. Why employ 25 when 10 can do the job just as efficiently?

Some of the Houston media is trying to claim the West Brook win as a win for them.

That would help. Would help compact each classification closer. Would not be as big a gap to where divisions are needed. But seven classifications would definitely change the landscape as far as how many districts per class and region.
