EC does not have seating behind the goals.
Mustangs do deserve credit but after learning what happened at the end of the game, WO-S is very fortunate to come out a winner.
Vidor committed a foul (legit foul) on a Mustang player who was attempting a "side step, fall away, going out of bounds" three pointer that everyone knew wasn't going in. Player made 2 of the three FT shots to win the game.
Was just not a smart play.
Sterling is not a bad team and it was at Baytown (Bay Area Chapter officials, nuff said).
Memorial needs a shooter. They are by far the best defensive team in the district but have a hard time scoring. Their defense will keep them in every game but their lack of offense will lose some games.
I see the game tomorrow night being close but I predict West Brook to pull it out due to their guard play on the offensive end.
Barbers Hill has been playing without their best offensive player the last two games against United and PN-G. He makes a world of difference for them offensively. He's not bad on the defensive end as well being a '6"6 wing.
IMO, this is why United got the win and the PN-G game was close.
I think this is a very competitive district but West Brook is the best team. I still think a healthy Barbers Hill team is the next best, followed by Memorial. I am curious to see how United does against Nederland. I'll probably attend that game.
I'll be at PAM/West Brook tomorrow night.
