That would help. Would help compact each classification closer. Would not be as big a gap to where divisions are needed. But seven classifications would definitely change the landscape as far as how many districts per class and region.

Definitely won't change next season but there's an opportunity to do it next realignment. Of course, I am a big proponent to not have divisions in basketball and other sports. I don't think it's necessary. Football, yes. It's needed. Other sports, not so much. Definitely not needed, was just wanted to be like football.

I agree. Shooting percentages always take a hit at the Dome. (even at Erwin Center) One reason why I like having regional tournaments. Most were held in arenas (Merrell, Sam Houston, Campbell, etc.) That helps with getting adjusted to shooting in those type settings. Really wish UIL changes things after next year. Most people I have talked to don't like this set up.
