So far, Silsbee has not asked or needed their QB to run the ball, yet. Those are sacks (which actually there are 3 sacks, the other three carries were the fumble and two runs for positive yards). The fumble was on him for sure. Was a pass play and when he pumped faked he lost grip of the ball. Lost about 10 of those 20 on that one play. I wish high school would be like pro and count sacks against passing yardage and not rushing yards.

I was told no, probably next week.

Last year the total score was 75. This year, I would set it at 70. Just think both defenses do better this time around.

The six Silsbee wins are correct. Three regular season wins (1993, 2009, 2022). Three playoff wins (1998, 2018, 2019). I have seen records where WO-S has 24 wins and others that have 26 wins. I believe it to be 26. 26-3 in regular season, 0-3 in playoffs.

The 2.5 for FSU is a bit odd. I think the 7.5 is a good number for A&M. Oregon being 21 point favorites is a little surprising. Would have put it at 17.5

Not just possible but fact. Silsbee was down 10-7 early in the 3rd Q when McGuire broke a long run down to Jasper 10. Was tackled awkwardly on the sideline and the result was a severe leg injury. Clean tackle, just one of those things. Silsbee ended up missing tying FG. Tiger offense went pretty stale after that.

Your memory is faulty. Jasper was leading Silsbee at the time of McGuire getting injured. Silsbee lost that game 17-7.

Game was in Silsbee. Year before, Silsbee should have won but QB knelt instead of spiking the ball to stop the clock on the 1 yard line with seconds remaining. Silsbee had no timeouts remaining. Had to rush the kicking team out but couldn't get the FG attempt off because time ran out. Lost in OT 13-7. That would have been another Silsbee win at their place.
