Lamar takes down Northwestern St. on the road. Cards are now 16-13 overall, 10-6 in conference play. They are 4th with two games remaining, at Commerce, home against Houston Baptist. I see them finishing regular season 18-13, 12-6. Got a chance to get 3rd seed in tournament.

1000% agree. Boutte is in this rarified air. Particularly those Lincoln years. Green is pretty special in the fact he has taken 4 different teams to the state tourney, winning 3. Four straight regional championships, looking for their 4th straight state title game, puts United at the top of the hill. Since Sigler came back to Silsbee in 2012, the Tigers know nothing other than being regional favorites. These last 13 seasons under him have been some of the most successful years that any team would want to have. 11 regional tournaments, 10 regional finals, 5 regional championships, 3 state finals, 2 state championships. If the prognosticators are right, Silsbee will play in their 4th state title game in last 9 seasons. (some say they played the title game against FF in 2022, so that would make 5). These two coaches resumes are second to none. BTW, I love the fact that Silsbee is a part of both of these coaches career.

Stafford beat Iowa Colony 71-64 Here are your 4 teams at state: Region I Randall Region II Faith Family Region III Silsbee Region IV Stafford Randall will be #1 seed, Stafford #2 Coin flip will determine which team those two will play in semis out of Silsbee and FF.

If Stafford wins, that will guarantee that Silsbee and FF will not play each other in semifinal. Randall and Stafford both have better winning percentages than Silsbee and FF. They would be the #1 and #2 seeds. Then those two would flip to see who plays Silsbee and FF. Now if Iowa Colony wins, Silsbee will be the #2 seed and Randall would be #1. Then it's a 50/50 that Silsbee could play FF in semis
