I plan on being at the scrimmage tonight.

I am trying to find out myself. HF coaches were very confused. Was supposed to be 2 live quarters

Correction on the Silsbee/Orangefield results. Silsbee did score 4 times Orangefield never scored. In fact, Orangefield never penetrated past the 30 yard line. 3 quarters Live

I heard Silsbee scored 4 times, Orangefield 1 time. Trying to get this confirmed.

Interesting development at this scrimmage. Was supposed to be a short period of controlled play then 2 live quarters. Lumberton called the scrimmage after the 1st live Q. HF coaches were pretty confused. HF scored 3 times in live Q, Lumberton did not score.

Well, ended up not being able to make any scrimmages tonight. A little under the weather. Hopefully we get some updates here from some of the scrimmages tonight.

Got a question. You have made reference to that game a few times lately. (even drug up an old thread from last year) Why? Seems like you enjoy bringing it up. Can we now label you a Silsbee hater? You know I know about those type things.

Pretty sure Mathews overall record is under .500. My point being he was there for many years and endured a many a losing season. The "win now" is not the case at many schools.

That wasn't the case for your coach Mathews. How long was he at Vidor? I can name several coaches that have been at a school for many years who aren't "winning now".

This coach (McDonald) has been on staff for several years now at Lumberton. He is who the vast majority of the supporters wanted to get the job. I believe he will do just fine and will be given time to have success.

Help me out choosing what scrimmage to attend Thursday night. These are my options: Beaumont West Brook at Nederland Thursday 6pm Hamshire-Fannett at Lumberton Thursday 6pm Anahuac at Hardin-Jefferson Thursday 6pm Vidor at Jasper Thursday 6pm Livingston at Woodville Thursday 6pm Diboll/Kirbyville at Liberty Thursday 6pm Keep in mind that I will be attending the LC-M at Hamshire-Fannett game in Week 1 and most likely will see West Brook and Nederland when they play Silsbee.

Most likely not if they only lose 2 district games. Would have to have a three way or four way tie for that to happen.

In the prior post, you have United finishing 4th. But this post with them beating 4 district teams, including BH and Lufkin, would have United finishing 3rd. So which is it? 3rd or 4th?

So which of these teams are you expecting United to beat to make the playoffs? (Galveston Ball, Barbers Hill, Lufkin, PA Memorial) I got them beating Baytown Sterling and possibly West Brook but that won't put them in the playoffs.
