I have found over the years that the more sites you visit on records, the more differences each show. If I found two with the same numbers, I went with that.

Will do. I don't play slots so Delta does nothing for me. I play in the poker rooms. I've been hearing good things about the room at the Shoe. I know several of the dealers who were dealers at the Isle but now are at the Shoe. Nugget poker room has kind of been down a bit.

I believe Jared will need to attend the spring semester at high school in order to get his proper credits to graduate. Drelon will have his at end of fall semester.

Still went by win percentage. Top two teams are seeded off win percentage, then a coin flip decides who those two play. If you look at the other classification match ups, you will see they did not use rankings. This is how UIL has done the pairings for years.

I agree, football is Drelon's sport. BUT, he has basketball scholarship offers from Texas A&M and just today, LSU.

Yep. Loved Ole Gregory Gym. But I was glad it went to the Drum.

UIL needs to keep it in SA. No way it should go back to that God forsaken place called Austin as long as SXSW is still there. Moody Center only holds 11,000, 5,000 less than the Drum. I was told tu wasn't interested in hosting any longer because they didn't want to have to be on the road two consecutive weekends. With them joining SEC, they may not have a choice in hosting.

After 51 straight years of attending the boys basketball state tournament, my streak will end this season as I will not be attending this year. My goal since I started going was to attend as many as my dad did who started taking me when I was 8 years old in 1972. My dad ended up attending 50 straight, his last time going in 2007. I made 51 straight last season. My priorities have changed over the years and my interest has waned some the last couple of years. Got grand sons to run around with now (T-ball, soccer, etc.) along with hanging out at the beach. With the wife and I retired now, just got other things I want to do. Actually I'll be hitting the new Horseshoe casino next week. I enjoyed each and every trip to the state tourney. Great memories with my dad and got to see some great basketball. I have been truly blessed. I may attend another state tourney (particularly if Silsbee goes) but the streak had to end sometime. Will miss hanging out with coaches, officials, media and fans that attended on a regular basis. Good luck To Beaumont United next week. Bring home that 3rd state championship.
