I predict United to represent 6A Region III in SA but they will have 2-3 teams in the region to deal with first. #3 Katy Seven Lakes #13 Pearland Dawson #16 Cypress Creek I haven't looked at the brackets to see if or when BU would see these teams but they are worthy opponents. Seven Lakes is definitely good enough to knock off United.

PN-G is playing a play in game for 4th seed Friday night at Dayton vs. Goose Creek Memorial. I would say they have something to play for.

They both are retired. From my understanding, Vidor ISD is ready to do the "retire, rehire" for one of them. Cost the district a little more money to do this. A retiree can go back to work as long as he/she sits out a school year. I believe that is why Mathews is staying on until June. It will be a year then.
