No if it is dangerous play it is a foul no matter what, even if he did touch the ball first. We didnt even score off of it so why are you complaining about it? If you forget yall also had a semi bogus pk that put yall up by two. Also, yalls first goal should never have happened, it was just a lucky goal because our goalie had a major mess up. So stop complaining and just be happy that you won a game that really could have gone either way.

On the first one the goalie dipped his shoulder and blatently hit our player who was crashing the goal. On the second one your player did touch the ball first, but it was a dangerous play none the less. Also we had many missed oportunitys for goals that should have been easy points. I know I personally had two eassy misses. Yall capitilized on all three of yalls chances. The game was close, stop crying about the refs just cause you had a close call against Silsbee.

Congrats Bridge City!! From the scores I have seen from yall this season, yall seem to have really improved.

Yeah im sure he is good, ive just never seen him play. They are in different districts so im sure they will both get the the district honors.

I thaught they were a good team. They were a pretty athletic team that had alot of skill but they were lacking leadership.

Anyone that thinks that the amount of goals let in is strictly related to the goalie is ignorant. Some goals there is just nothing that a goalie can do about. Besides, the three goals he let in at Lumberton were all penalty kicks. Your Murdock could not block a pk if he just guessed the wrong direction, no one could.

They missed one and Silsbee blocked one, however, none of the pks on either side were deserved. Also, it was a 60 yard goal, Tanton kicked it from midfeild and robinson sheilded the goalie and one defensive player from the ball so that the ball could bounce in the goal.

the game reall should have been 1-1 or mabey 2-1 but oh well, theres nothing you can do about bad reffing

Yeah it was a very intense game. In my opinion the refs let it get a little out of control. Also, the Silsbee players hold no grudge against Lumberton for this game, it was a hard faught game and Lumberton just came out a little ahead.

You can be 10 feet tall and still not be that good of a goalie.

Kade Smith from Silsbee did amazing. He was obviously the MVP of the game even though Silsbee Lost. He had about 10 saves and a penelty kick save. He might be the most athletic player in the entire area.

It looks like Lumberton should win on their home feild but Silsbee is sure to show up for the game.
