You are right! Defense has changed a lot. A lot of these kids seem to think that they have to look good throwing the ball from third to first or from center to home plate. You dont win the game with style points, or the number of arm bands you where. Its who commits less errors and crosses the plate the most!

Good to see lcm's pitching doind better.

Ive seen the kids play a few times. He has the size and everything he just doenst really do it for me. I know he had tommy john but but his arm isnt that strong for his size.

Man the umps had nothing to do with this one. Like I said in the other post, the difference was Kyle Mangan #12 for Brenham, he was throwing 89-90 consistently and his slider was wicked. There were two check swings that went against LCM and a balk call but it was 6-0 by then. The umps were switched in the third becaue the LCM starter threw his 15 wild pitch that bounced in front of the plate and hit the ump in the hand, probably broke it so they switched. Lcm has a good team but tonight they were shut down, period. The only two balls hit out of the infield were hits other than that it domination. Good luck tomorrow Bears. I didnt say it was all on the umps, i said that it always seems onsided. But other than that lcm should not have been beaten that badly, they are to good of a team. Just curoius, but how did number 12 from lcm do.

Its always tough to play brenham at there own tournement, and just about every year the umps are a little one sided but man not one run after all the bombs lcm has been hitting? Need some info on this for sure!

Its officail, there bears can straight up smash. They have to have the best bats in the district. Looks like there pitching is doing good today to. We will see how good come 7.

Have the bears thrown johnson, brown, jones, or barry yet. Those are there top guys.

They should be ready by district. Nederland has very talented players year in and year out. They have great coaching too. Last year was a big surprise for the bulldogs and if it where two years in a row and would be a huge dissapointment. The dogs will battle for third once again with vidor.

Lcm 4-0 cant even count the number of homeruns.

Believe me these kids want to go to the playoffs bad!!!
